Fair play to Tranmere.

Down to 10 men after 48 seconds.
All 3 subs used in the first half.
Assistant manager sent off.

Still manage to win the game 2-1 and return to the League.
What did the guy do to get a red in 48 seconds?

Hard to argue with that. More enthusiasm than malice, but still the right call.

It's actually refereshing to see a referee refereeing the game like he is supposed to, i.e. regardless of the time on the clock.

None of this "the first 10 minutes are extremely lenient."

Yep. That is up there with different standards for a foul in/out of the 18 yard box.

So, we all know the situation at the bottom of the Premier League. Swansea are down unless:
* Swansea beat Stoke City and
* Southampton lose to Manchester City and
* The relative goal difference in the two games is +10 in Swansea's favour.

City have scored five or more in a game five times this season - and seven once. It's certainly possible, and Swansea have taken first blood; Swansea 1-0 up against Stoke...

Edit: 15.30 - Southampton 0-0 Manchester City; Swansea 1-1 Stoke City
Edit: 15.40 - Southampton 0-0 Manchester City; Swansea 1-2 Stoke City...
Edit: 16.50 - Southampton 0-1 Manchester City; Swansea 1-2 Stoke City... but the Swansea game has finished and Swansea are relegated.

Fulham promoted after beating Aston Villa 1-0
Fun fact: They get 40 times as much prize money compared to the losers as the the winners of tonight's Champions League final (>£160m vs. £4m)

Rotherham promoted to the Championship, they beat Shrewsbury 2-1 after extra time.

same here, we follow them in our household and keep up with their results because they are only down the road, a bit gutted but Rotherham deserve it today, better team.
