2017 ADAC Zurich 24 Hours of NurburgringTouring Cars

But the #9 is already passed the BMW. Next Stop: BMW with minimum Pit time around 2:30 min. THEN, Audi pits once again with no minimum (or much shorter) pit time because it will only be around 30 mins to the end.
The Audi is in front because the #9 did a 7 lap stint and had a quicker pitstop. That means it needs a one lap earlier stop before the end.

Well Rast does have a track record of pulling in incredible stints.

29 died, was restarted, and went to the pits while leading. Car seems to be okay now but chances of winning extremely low now.

Leader #29 had its scheduled pitstop but upon exit the car lost power and Rast had to do a Ctrl - alt - del to the car and bring it back to the pits. Small re-pit later back to the track on 3rd place.

So the driver is from the #29 Audi?

It doesn't matter much if they now do a 7 or 8 lap stint - they still have the advantage. The Rowe Team Manager just said the same, their stop will be much longer.

So the driver is from the #29 Audi?

It's van der Linde in the #29 car, Rast is now leading in the WRT Audi #9

BMW now 3rd again after its last stop, which was 2:29. Now around 1:10-1:20 behind P2. Both Audis only with a splash and dash in the end. Maybe #29 can get up to 2nd in the end?

Rain at Brünnchen reported, Rain tires are now ready in the pits at Audi and BMW. Clouds are very dark.

Edit: #29 now 8:25 laptime, fastest of all drivers now.

Edit 2: #98 Rowe can keep up, only 0.2 seconds slower. Still 1:21 behind.

Both Audis will need to pit after this lap, no minimum pitstop time.

Another edit: Rain on the helicopter cam!

#98 moves to second!

What the 🤬 are they doing :banghead:

Edit: That decision may have just saved them, looks like at least one section of the track is pretty wet

Might as well put on the wets now since they lost time with that screw up. Especially now that its raining around most of the track.

I have a feeling that that M6 will push too hard on the main straight, and won't be able to stop at the end of the straight
