So the big endurance races which are part of their own Tequila Patron Endurance Cup get larger fields? What else is left for that? 6H Glen and Petit Le Mans?

Still early in practice, but the ESM cars are definitely starting to show some speed. They're really showing improvement in their program and could potentially start winning races later in the season.

That will be CAD,CAD,CAD in qualifying, nobody can touch them out of the hairpin. Extra torque, extra weight helping rear grip, better TC- pick one. Maybe IMSA will take away their flappy paddles and make them use a H pattern box next.

The defacto factory Riley P team drove 2500 miles one way, burned around 400 gallons of diesel, and didnt think to bring/cant afford a 2nd tub. :boggled:

10 CAD has .6 on the rest of field, odd.
Well don't forget those guys have ruled Long Beach for a few years now. They know their way around this track. Not really a surprise that they've got it right again.

Torque is still king, and the big V8 is giving them a .3 advantage in the final sector which is turns 9-10 and the hairpin over every other P car.

Looks like AER found some speed with their Mazda engine now as well. Of course, that's irrelevant if they haven't figured how to not catch on fire, and time will tell if that was solved.

Well, it's a short race this week. :P

I even heard they forced the Cadillacs to have a longer first gear and that's not working either
