Missed the start because I don't get FS2 and Fox blocks the international stream. I really hate Fox....

Missed the start because I don't get FS2 and Fox blocks the international stream. I really hate Fox....

Just read the ticker that the race will continue on FS1.

Had to catch the beginning of the race on the Ford onboard camera...because even the stream had been stuck on the stupid soccer match. :banghead:

Missed the first 1hr 30mins or so, as I've just picked it up on the stream, so someone update us on what's go on so far.

Edit: D'oh, now worries, forgot I've got the full timing on the IMSA stream :boggled:.

Big shot for the race leader, #2 into the wall after the bus stop.

Oh and look! Our old friend the SunEnergy Mercedes is involved!

Well..it's all kicked off now. GTD guys seem all edgy/hyped up, bit naughty by the #75, as that's set the #2 back a long way now...

Elsewhere, good to see the two Ford's; #66 and #67, take the lead of GTLM :D.

So why am I a Mazda fan again? Yeah J Bom is reeling in the leaders but the 70 is sitting in the pits. Broken. Because Mazda logic.

The #20 PC span, and then decided to get it going as soon as a full course caution was brought out.

Edit: #31 stopped, right rear not on properly

I didn't know Santa Claus was a corner marshall, I'm not sure where on the track he is located but he is definitely there.

Full course caution just for the small amount of debris.... Just do a local yellow and have someone run out to grab it when the cars aren't at that part of the track. IMSA cautions are the worst thing in racing...

Amazingly didn't damage the rear wing as you saw in the replay it went just above the barrier.

Yea really quite lucky there, and in fairness to Werner, he did a good job minimising damage getting to the bits.

However, to add insult to injury, he struggled to get it going out of the box as it kept stalling, and the pit light went red as soon as he got going, so he's lost a lap it'd seem.

It's worked before. It's usually less commercials and the Radio Le Mans announcers which is always a plus.

Yea I'd say rain looks likely, there's some rather ominous looking clouds.

And yea I sure can, I'm watching the IMSA.tv feed for people outside the US, so not 100% if it'll work, but I'll give you the link anyhow.
I just use that with a VPN. It's way better than Fox here and the only problem I have (other than having to mess with the VPN settings once in a while) is a terrible router that struggles with high usage.

Yea the IMSA stream has worked perfectly for us, been using it of course, to watch the races so far, and I've never had any issues. Plus with commentary from Hindy, it's perfect, after whenever I hear/watch endurance racing, I immediately associate it with Hindhaugh, and the rest of the RLM crew .

38 can use manual jacks but won't be allowed to fuel in the car while tires are being changed. I get the safety aspect given that crew members are more at risk with the the jack instead of the air jack, but it's penalizing them now since everyone else in PC can refuel and change tires at the same time.

Then again, it's PC and they're the strongest team, so it shouldn't hurt them much anyway.
