I got my tickets a week ago. I go to this and 12 hrs of Sebring every year. 24 hours isn't enough for me, I leave Daytona every year still wanting more.I may be going to the race this year...
Hm, the splitter and skirts looked bigger.Looks the same as last year, actually.
I rent a hauling van, throw a blow up mattress in the back and park in the grass parking area right outside the speedway by the turn 4 oval. It's close enough to the infield tunnel entrance.I got stiffed by the person I usually get my camping passes from, so I'm in emergency panic mode.
Nice! I got tickets for this year alsoI may be going to the race this year...
Went to the 12hr of Sebring for the first time last year. Probably one of the best races I've been to, so I'm certainly looking forward to the Rolex 24. And you're right; 12 hours at Sebring just wasn't long enough .I got my tickets a week ago. I do the same, but use a minivan I get at the airport.I rent a hauling van, throw a blow up mattress in the back and park in the grass parking area right outside the speedway by the turn 4 oval. It's close enough to the infield tunnel entrance.
Unfortunately no. Have one more week of vacation myself. Is the Roar being televised by any chance? Got my last free weekend without having to worry about school, and I need to get my racing fix.

That's my buddy James.Bummer. 'Least I'm subscribed to a guy on Youtube who'll post a bunch of stuff. Fansofthe12hours, or something of the sort is the channel.
Also just saw, and I wasn't sure if anyone brought it up yet, but Max Angilleli is retiring after the Rolex 24.

It would look better if it wasn't just a piece of carbon laid on top of the stock Ligier body work.
That "hood" thing is just odd.
Yeah I hope they keep the green and black livery I've always loved that, once painted I don't think it will look bad imo.It would look better if it wasn't just a piece of carbon laid on top of the stock Ligier body work.
The high F1 style nose certainly makes it hard to make the car look like a production car, but atleast the lines match up with the GT-R. Maybe if this was more of a factory effort and they had more time they could have come up with something more like the Mazda which looks like a different car than the Rileymatic chassis it is.It would look better if it wasn't just a piece of carbon laid on top of the stock Ligier body work.
Agree. And they have the "V motion" grill piece on it too that's on all the Nissan's. I think if they changed the headlights a bit to look more GTR style as someone else said with the lightning bolt it would look pretty good. I think I'm the only one who doesn't think it looks bad . Bad was the 2016 Audi R18, that thing was downright ugly. I loved the 2012 though. The high F1 style nose certainly makes it hard to make the car look like a production car, but atleast the lines match up with the GT-R. What an ugly ****. The #52 behind it shows how much that lazy piece of carbon fiber ruins the lines of the Ligier. They could've at least been GM lazy and complemented the Ligier design with Nissan design traits but nope.
That "hood" thing is just odd.
Team Cadillac appears to have shown up in this model today.
Let the sandbagging begin...
It will be interesting to see were they are tomorrow after the data cards are reviewed by IMSA.I presume that the anti-sandbagging devices aren't working...?
The yellow strip looks like a mustache
That "hood" thing is just odd.
KENNY HABULLLLLLLSad to see Max the Ax go. I'm already a WTR fan but I'll be rooting even harder for them for his last race.
And wow I'm kinda digging this livery
