I feel only slightly bad for these corner marshalls. They have to stand there waving blue flags for ever until the race ends. The reason I don't is because they're at the freaking Bathurst 12 hour.

As a former flaggie, I can tell you it's not that great when it's steaming hot or pouring rain but, it's as close as you can get to the action without being in the cars.
Free entry, lunch supplied (which can vary greatly) & access to areas the public can only wish for.
