I'm gonna go with a company that makes most of its money from selling small to mid sized reasonably priced cars, I think it will be the Italians with Fiat or more likely Alfa Romeo, if it was VWAG I would say Volkswagen, but that's unlikely

Fortunately, we still have advertless during Green Flag running BT Sport. Saw the Power problems at Sonoma from it live.

And they're enjoyable/intelligent.

I like the visor cam that they mentioned in that article. I think it does a much better job at showing you the intricacies of a course by peering through a driver's eye then a bumper cam or through the far side of the cockpit.

“Visor Cam will give viewers a very true portrayal of how it feels to be inside the car,” said Jackson, noting that the new camera will not be used during the race due to possible interference with competition.

Aw. Bummer.

Kinda defeats its hype...but its at least a reasonable reason.
Didnt seem to be a issue back in 2003. Maybe budget cuts at the mouse network means that the camera guy will ride on the airbox for the track map lap and record it on a VCR tape.;)

I didn't realize the season starts THIS WEEKEND until I was watching "NASCAR America" earlier today. All I can say is... bring on the new season of IndyCar Series racing! Always up for IndyCar.

Sure want to see what happens in St. Petersburg, FL this weekend. The St. Petersburg event has been around for a fairly good time. Wasn't it 2005 or so when the St. Petersburg event was first run? It's lasted a fairly good time while most other races last for a few years, then never have another race run there either ever or a few years later (like the race here in Houston around Reliant Park). Anyhow, glad to see the series start its 2017 campaign.

Are they really trying to improve or is this cheaper than replacing badyear and underacheever? http://espnmediazone.com/us/press-r...-verizon-indycar-series-season-st-petersburg/
Based on these technological improvements and their continued obsession with the Indy 500, I've got a bad feeling that ABC wants to keep their broadcasting rights for the next tv deal. They wouldn't invest in graphic upgrades for just one season. If ABC does sadly get included, hopefully NBC sports will also get network rights.

I would stop watching Indycar entirely if ABC got the rights and kept Cheever & Goodyear on the broadcast side. Or worse yet, replace Allen Bestwick with somebody like Marty Reed...

I don't need this negativity in my life.

I don't think there's been any indication otherwise (The 500 is always good for decent rating during a dead time for ABC). Now whether or not IndyCar wants to stay with ABC is an entirely different story.

I would just put the volume on low and keep watching. People talking is a problem that can be solved, taking 2 coffee breaks in the middle of the race is one that cannot.

I'm sure PWC wont mind if I borrow this.

I wonder what Marshall Pruett has to say about all of this Penske domination.:embarrassed:

Looks like Penske and Foyt missed the boat on the baseline setup. But in truth, the field is covered by one and a half seconds, so it could be just a small blip on the season-long radar.
