2nd race in a row with a smaller team winning and the last races winner finished 2nd. If it continues like this it will be a very fun year to watch IndyCar.

Also a nice run by Newgarden.

The minnows have been getting the results over the big teams.

Good stuff so far this early in the season. 👍

As a fan of Hunter-Reay (as you can see from my profile picture), I'm was absolutely livid when his car died as he was catching Hinchcliffe. But congratulations to the Mayor of Hinchtown. You earned this win. 👍

And it might just be 2 races, but Bourdais and his old Newman-Hass Racing crew are picking up right where they left off in 2007. It's quite amazing how racing in F1 makes one grateful for how American race teams actually work as team. Before Seabass left for F1, he was one of the most arrogant IndyCar drivers in history. Ever since he came back, he's actually humble and likeable. So likeable that even he and Paul Tracy are now friends.

Yeah, since his return to IndyCar Seabass has certainly become a lot more likeable, I hope he can pull off a few more upsets before the year is out,

This really does not seem legit to me. Why on Earth would they let Alonso drop from Monaco? I mean, it's cool as heck that Alonso is going to take on the Indy 500, but holy ****.
Back in the day, Jim Clark skipped Monaco in order to compete (and ultimately win) at Indy. And he had an F1 Lotus that could easily win at Monaco. Fernando has no such possibility.

At times, Jackie Stewart, Graham Hill and Jack Brabham also chose the Hoosier brickyard over Monte Carlo.

The prize money, TV and live audience at Indy dwarf that of the principality. The first Indy 500 was run in 1911. Except for the surface, the circuit is the same today.
