The Kelly cars are nice, but I think the 888 is leading in terms of best looking Retro livery.... That is until LDM break covers on their Big Kev (I hope)

I don't think they can afford NOT to run their current liveries. Last year's Phil Munday livery wasn't that bad...

...and you know at least one of them, will have Plus Fitness on the side.

Wonder how many more drivers are looking at this series.

How much would they expect to be paid?
Paid? What makes GP think he's a walk-up start in the first place?
He hasn't even sat in a Supercar, never mind proven his ability behind the wheel.

We already have a growing queue of guys waiting for a seat to open up & with only 26 odd cars around, getting a drive is a lot harder than having a reputation overseas.

A big problem is the Alex Rullo thing. Yes, it's happened and just move forward..and yes, sponsorship money talks, but that should never have happened. As much as I want Stanaway to drive the rest of the season, he's in the right spot with the S2 drives. Any driver looking to enter the series should be doing that first.

Alex Rullo. Would he have gotten a drive at another team besides LDM? I think not.
It's not any stretch of the truth to suggest LDM are focused on the budget the driver brings, rather than said driver's ability behind the wheel.
His name escapes me at the moment but, trying to get the other guy over the line sans Superlicence is the perfect example - he's done nothing in Super2 except blot his copybook & prove the Superlicence wasn't deserved period.

If I was an adviser to A.Rullo, I'd have suggested nothing other than another season in Super2.
He certainly didn't do anything last season that made me think he was a genuine threat for a seat in the main game.

Anyone catch this bit of news yesterday? Renee Gracie has stepped down from her S2 drive. No reason as to why or whether it's for the rest of season or just Sandown but anyway, Dragon Motorsport have announced V8 Touring Cars driver Jordan Boys as her replacement.

Another year, at the very least. How many seasons did Cam Waters have in the Dunlop series before he got promoted to the main game? Three or four? I think Rullo is only hindering his development by spending a year pottering around the back the grid.

Also, it's Matt Chahda you're thinking of. Who was originally announced as Rullo's teammate before CAMS (rightly) rejected his application for a superlicence.

Also, it's Matt Chahda you're thinking of. And it shows what a top quality organisation LDM is, when they let him attend the season launch despite being fully aware that CAMS had rejected his application for a superlicence.
Noticed the news. Hope it's nothing major. What's weird is, on social media, she announced a new women's drive day at the start of the week.
Funny how this comes about, when her ex( Heimgartner), is concentrating on Porsche Cup.

Using Cam Waters as an example, whether it was the car & team behind him, his driving or, a combination of everything just coming together perfectly, he absolutely dominated the Dunlop Series in his championship year.
A performance like that warrants promotion to the main game & it would've been a miscarriage of justice for it not to happen.

Now, if Rullo came out this year & put in a similar performance in S2, I'd be all for him aiming for a seat in the main game next year.
If it wasn't Waters like domination, I'd be telling him, "What's the rush?" Do S2 again & learn some more.

Ah yes, Matt Chahda. How did I forget his name? ;)

If you aren't a genuine top five S2 contender I don't think you should even be considered for a full-time supercars seat. There isn't enough spots on the grid, you should not be able to buy your spot. LDM only cheapens the grid with the way it's run.

It's why I think Supercars should open up more RECs and teams should qualify for a grid position. Teams that don't qualify for the top 26, with the exception of not qualifying due to a collision, mechanical failure or grid penalty, should at least run in S2. S2 should also be running same spec suspension and tyres as S1.

Watt St. looking smoooooth. The before pic is looking towards turn 2. The after pic is looking g back to Turn 1. I'm going to have a look for myself today.
