He might make a move at getting Alexander Rossi if Felix keeps crashing, because Chip has no time or patience for drivers who crash.
Which is probably part of their lack of recent success with drivers not named Scott Dixon. Some stability with a talented driver would be a good idea.

Very True, but Chip wants results and marketability NOW, not later. Kind of like a version of the Red Bull F1 Team mentality of "If you aren't as good as Sebastian Vettel or Max Verstappen, you're gonna get fired."

Dixon, Ericsson and Power make up the podium. That squirrel nearly got killed by Ericsson.

Man. Detroit Grand Prix Race 2 was quite a street fight, eh? That junk was nuts! Congratulations to all winners.

If I recall correctly, Texas [Motor Speedway] is next, so bring on Texas! Texans of GTPlanet.. here comes IndyCar!

So they have technical difficulties.

*Something* happens.

They come back from the impromptu commercial.

The top 10 is significantly shuffled.

They don't say what happened.
I heard them mention something about Sato and Rosenqvist coming together or something as it was happening. But, yeah, nothing about it when they came back from commercial. And Taku was sitting 16th or so after the break.

Conor Daly will be driving the #59 Carlin Racing Chevy in place of Max Chilton. Chilton will be sitting out the remaining oval races in 2019.

I know I kind of hyped up IndyCar at Texas Motor Speedway, but I remembered that this would be IndyCar's RETURN to the state of Texas after having that race at Circuit of the Americas. Races at COTA and TMS would likely never happen in NASCAR, so it's a treat seeing both of our (as a Texas native) finest courses get treated to IndyCar awesomeness. And if you never seen IndyCar at Texas, some people think Texas Motor Speedway is the spiritual home of IndyCar Series racing because a great show is put on at TMS often. I would imagine this upcoming race won't be a clunker.

The next round of the season takes place this Saturday night from "No Limits, Texas." So get ready!

TMS does host NASCAR this weekend with an IndyCar doubleheader. Sure, it’s trucks, not Cup but still one of the national series. I’d love to watch such weekend at Pocono or Dover (the closest tracks to us).

Texans of GTPlanet (like yours truly), are you ready for the NTT IndyCar Series to grace this great state with their awesomeness again, but in a different part of Texas? They rocked Circuit of the Americas earlier this year. Now, Fort Worth gets some IndyCar loving tonight at Texas Motor Speedway. As always, this should be a great show for later tonight. So especially you Dallas/Fort Worth GTPlaneteers get excited with IndyCar coming your way.

Good luck to all drivers and teams tonight in the DXC 600.

Welp, there goes Sato's chances. Thankfully the crew member doesn't seem to be hurt too seriously.

Sato hits his crew guys and completely misses his box. Plus a stop go penalty. Sato's race is basically over.

Wow Sato's pit-crew member was very fortunate not to get badly injured there. Upon seeing the replay I thought for sure he broke something, but he seems alright. Glad he's okay at the moment.

Colton Herta is on fire right now. I think he may be our only hope of getting an interesting finish.

Some teams are going for a three stop race and others sticking with a four stop race. It's going to be interesting to see which strategy wins out.

I saw a puff of flame on Sato's stop just now.

Bets? I'd like to see Herta or Hinch win.

Is it me, or can Rossi not make the middle line work on entry?

HERTA INTO DIXON AND AROUND THEY GO!
Edit: WHAT A DODGE BY ROSSI!! He missed hitting Herta by INCHES!
