The Turbo S has already been announced. That's the "911 Turbo SportDesign Package", a $6,150 option.
Interestingly, the small elements on either side of the front bumper reminds me of the 991 Turbo Exclusive Series
Yeah that body panel joint was the first thing I noticed when the new car was revealed. It makes the nose of the car look incredibly horizontal/flat unlike the curvier look of the 991. Overall, the new car has a much more horizontal theme than previous cars which can be seen in the interior and the rear.Seeing these together reveals I think why the 992 looks clunky compared to the 991. Look at the way the front bumper and fenders/wings and trunklid meet. That is an awkward joint. That combined with the inelegant & rectangular fascia...man the 992 just isn't a pretty car.
The senior Porsche official must have been dreaming.A senior Porsche official has told Drive-My that Carrera 4 E-Hybrid and Turbo S E-Hybrid 992 variants will be added to the model line-up in 2020.
The similarities are very noticeable. Look at the rear windshield for instance.
Back in August 2019 I reported that the forthcoming Sport Classic would use the Turbo body but with no rear fender induction vents. I got the info from a wider conversation about forthcoming cars (GT3, GT3 RS, GT4 RS, GTS, Sport Classic and Safari) that I was party to. But reflecting back, I am wondering if I misheard that part of the conversation and what they really said was that Gt3 RS would have the turbo body with no induction vents....hmmm.
....
Not to take it off-topic but can you provide more info on Sport Classic? Is it more like RS or more like Turbo?
...
More like Turbo.
Wearing the same camouflage as the Porsche Type 992 911 GT3 models being developed, this car does not seem to be as hardcore as those RS model. What it does have, however, is a gigantic ducktail.
Coming from a very good source on Rennlist; Sport Classic & Safari in the works.

Don't know, tbh. I don't have an account there to ask on behalf. So like the old C2S if rear wheel drive or C4S if it's all wheel drive?
Our spies first laid eyes on the high-riding 911 back in October, and now they’ve spotted another prototype from Zuffenhausen with a jacked-up suspension. Beyond the obvious boost in ground clearance, the test vehicle had beefier wheel arches, possibly to accommodate a wider track.
At the front, we’re getting the sensation Porsche has fiddled with the bumper’s design to improve the approach angle. It's a similar story at the back where the license plate now sits slightly higher and the bumper has been modified, likely to improve the car's departure angle.
The German automaker has released a teaser advertising a 10-day countdown to the digital world premiere of “the youngest member of the Porsche 911 GT family.” Porsche also released a shadowy teaser that shows off the rear end of the mysterious vehicle sporting what looks like an aggressive wing.
The GT model is shrouded in mystery. Back in September, Bring A Trailer held an auction for a build slot – not the actual car – for a “new GT variant” from the Petersen Museum. The auction ended that same month, though another teaser attached to it showed a 911 hiding under a car cover. However, that car lacked the wing vaguely spotted in the new official teaser from the automaker. That doesn’t mean they aren’t the same car – the Bring A Trailer listing could have been using a stand-in model.
