Yeah, sucks. I have no idea who they'll run in the cars. Todd mentioned David Russell is busy with GT cars. Jack Perkins, Chelsea Angelo perhaps? Could be four lucky young(Lions) drivers getting the call. Who knows?
I mean, Caruso liked my comment on his post. :P

Could we have more cars enter as the season progresses or is this all we'll get?

Yeah, there are some more pics of the MG on other sites. Looks alright.

As FPV mentioned, teams are looking outside the box for drivers. However, still waiting to see where young Jordan Cox will be. That's if he's got anything lined up in TCR.

Well, one of the commentators, just commented in the B6H coverage, that MARC Cars are looking to make a MARC Cars series here in Australia. He said more cars were being built.

Did you read about this @05XR8 : https://www.speedcafe.com/2019/04/20/ingall-believes-tcr-not-a-competitor-to-supercars/

Morris suggested that Kelly and GRM could even be in breach of their Racing Entitlements Contracts but said they are justified in seeking to diversify their operations.

“There is a shareholders agreement that it could contravene; it depends on how you want to interpret it,” he claimed.
Yes. I watched the program. Sure, he knows more than me, but I was saying in comments how Erebus ran GT3 before and during V8SC. Now, T8 are running in GT3 Asia. What's the problem now? We'll have to get more info on the contracts.

Exactly 👍. Teams have been running other series for years, GRM's Nations Cup Monaro for one, and as you mentioned, Erebus. I think that in this day and age that kind of nonsense is antiquated and should be done away with. DJRTP and WAU, well the TP and the A bits, race all kinds of series, so I don't quite understand why TCR should be treated any different. Perhaps this is what Tickford was meaning by conflict of interest moreso than for the brand with Chaz (I can't remember how they worded it and I'm too lazy to look it up right now :P).

Yeah, it was that CHaz races a Ford and he'd be driving for a Ford competitor in HYundai. Wait, he races a BMW at multiple events....

I’m liking those ticket prices for the Nationals. I’ve never been to one of their events so it looks like I’ll have to get out and see the TCR cars in action down at The Bend later this year.

When it was first announced. I had fears that the first season of TCR Aus might look a bit like Formula 4 or the SuperUtes with only a handful of cars on the gird. But manufacturers, teams and drivers have really gotten behind this. Should be a good season.

Excellent news.

I also hope a team grab a couple Peugeots. I still see plenty new ones on the road. Wouldn't hurt to advertise in this series. The ones in WTCR aren't bad.
