I still don't mind it but you're right, it looks cheap in comparison to the CoolDrive entry.
I think if they'd done the same treatment below the Freightliner logo it would've looked much better. All green background where 'TRUCKS' is written with the word trucks being white, just like what they did with the Cooldrive logo and auto parts underneath. Another case of sponsors not seeing the greater good maybe?

Unless we’re going to get a stack of reveals in the next couple of days, it feels like there aren’t anywhere near as many retro liveries this year. Erebus will most likely do one, I think I saw Walkinshaw have said they’re wanting to do one, but I aren’t seen many others say that they’re going to.

That looks like a beast. I'll give them a vote for livery of the year. Add this to the two Tickford cars and the MSR and Blanchard cars. Really well done on that #18.And it looks GREAT. Except that they probably won't keep the black wheels.

I wish teams would stop teasing us WITH the wheels. It brings back the early V8SC days of multiple wheel colors and styles. I hate the answer Ryan Walkinshaw gave. He said it's too expensive to repaint all the wheels to match whatever scheme they're doing.
Fans don't care about that. Spend the dang money!

That's definitely the better looking of the two WAU cars. The logo on 22 kills this one.1999 livery for WAU. Nice to see the old HRT logo again.

The Scott Pye ‘HRT’ car takes the cake for me personally, incredible. The Winning Appliances logo works really well with the car.
I’ll wait an see how the Erebus car looks on track before making a proper comment on it, since I’m a not huge from the reveal photos. Just doesn’t really work so well on the ZB imo.

What gets me is, they keep all the old tyres. Just leave the old paint on those and for the new/green set of tyres, put the new matching rims on those.Too expensive when the teams are spending how much?

If the teams are worried about recovering the cost of such an exercise, auction off the special rims & buy some more new, plain-Jane, silver ones.

Oh yeah, definitely. I'm surprised by how well the Wining Appliance's logo works with that livery. Doesn't really look out of place at all.
That's one I've been wishing them to do that particular one for a while. Always has been one of my favorite HRT liveries.
