The 62 has been having a hellish race.
98 had some sort of suspension failure.
Gottaa wonder if that smoke that randomly emanates from that #8 Toyota will cause any issues before the race is over?
So impressed with the Rebellions this year. Still in position to take advantage of any issues with the #8 and going at a pace that'll stop the #7 from catching them.
Best privateer performance for overall win since Pescarolo in 2005?
With that pace yes! This is not just about luck.
It is quite exciting knowing that Alpine Signatech will get one of these specific LMP¹ for next season until they get an Hypercar
Both Rebellions under investigation for pit infrigements, potentially for more people working on the car(s) than allowed, or similar not too sure. Also, if I heard that correctly on RLM, the #1 was delayed partly because of an issue/collision involving a rabbit .
I wouldn't hold your breath, Alpine next year will using a grandfathered Rebellion RB13 chassis, so not sure how that will work out with the newer LMH cars. In theory faster, given the target times for LMH, but BoP will be interesting. Still, great to have the Alpine in the top class again, will be interesting to see what they do going forward.
