Mazda rides off into the sunset on top, Porsche wins the final GTLM race and Aston wins GTD.

As final swansongs go, that has to be the way to do it. Sad to see the RT24-P go, but Mazda signed off that program with a bang, in what has been a very solid season to boot.
A chaotic race with all the FCY's, but a phenomenal one with all the racing. Especially in the last 90mins or so, with a grandstand finish at the front. Rotten luck that the #60 dropped out though. Nevertheless, with that turn 10 incident; both Taylor or Nasr would have more than likely done the same in either ones shoes. Was the last opportunity to make a move, but crucially both kept running.
End of on era for GTLM, they certainly went at until the end as it was nice the see the BMW's return for the M8's final outing. Though with GTD Pro for 2022, we should see the increased entries we've been lacking.
Thrilling climax to another great season of racing, the MX-5's have been a source of massive entertainment all year long too. Thankfully there isn't too long to wait until Daytona next year.

I don't know about that, if Taylor didn't move to the grass, we would've had a Kelvin van der Linde Part II on our hands.
But overall great season and fantastic finish. Even though DPi is slowly losing manufacturers, looks like 2022 will be interesting to unfold for the last season before DPi becomes DPi 2.0 (but we're gonna call it LMDh otherwise we're gonna hurt ACO pride for some reason...). Might start rooting for Lamborghini over Cadillac if they get their program in
