@42:57 Why is the c8r running almost 2 seconds slower? :( Hope that's just here and not in the race.
Not just the Vette. The fastest Porsche was 2.3 seconds or so slower than the AMG, same with the 296. Either they were sandbagging super hard, or something is really off. The M4s seem to be really slow, too.

While writing this I checked the news:

Well, unless the teams in the bottom truly sandbagged, it's gonna be super ugly apart from the AMGs and Astons.

I'm getting excited to see how the GTP field holds up over the race. There are definitely some great driver lineups throughout the entire grid. I'm obviously rooting to the BMWs, but I dont have much hope that they will a) be on pace, and b) last the 24 hours.

I must have missed something clearly, but when did GM/Corvette go down to a single car?

They dropped to one car for most of the calendar in IMSA starting last year. The other car is doing a more full schedule of WEC events I believe.

We're less than 24 hours away.

Just incase anyone is interested in Peacock and hasn't subscribed yet (or let theirs expire), use the code NEWYEAR23 and you can get a full year for $30.

Should be a great race, will be interesting to see what happens with Ferrari and Porsche in the GT classes.

Hey fellas!

Does anyone happen to know if the race actually starts at 1.40pm ET like it is mentioned on IMSA website, or is that the time when they begin to assemble the cars on the pitlane?

Can't remember how it was last year, or before that.

That should be green flag time I believe.

I know if I eat pasta in the evening it kicks in about 2am, so this year, instead of eating a pizza and a bunch of crisps I'm being a little more sensible.
