That's far more likely to be the FOX Game of the Week, with everybody from the Rockies east watching it. The NFL has always put a win-or-go-home game as the last game of the season since they started flex-scheduling the entire last week. If the Commanders and 49ers both lose, it will be the Seahawks-Rams with the NFC West on the line for the winner and a long off-season for the loser. If just the Commanders lose, it will be the Commanders-Cowboys with that very likely being a lose-and-go-home game for them as the Falcons will be hosting the hapless Panthers and the Buccaneers will be hosting the almost-equally-hapless Saints. Otherwise, it will likely be either the Panthers-Falcons (with the Falcons probably needing a win to get in) or, more likely, the Chiefs-Broncos (with the Broncos almost certainly needing to not lose with the Dolphins at the hapless Jets and also the Bengals at the Steelers, along with the side "benefit" to NBC of being on Swift Watch). Also, the Lions v. Vikings next Sunday has to be the Sunday night game right?
I thought it's a winner take all game next week anyway even if the niners beat the lions tonight.I think the Lions will this game to setup a winner take all final game next Sunday night against the Vikings
Philadelphia is locked at the 2 seed because Minnesota already has 14 wins. Even if the Eagles win next week, they lose the tiebreaker vs both Minnesota and Detroit.I think you are right @daan If they lose tonight they will have 3 losses and would have to beat Vikings to get the No.1 seed. I wonder if they lose tonight do the Eagles have a chance to get the No.1 seed as well. I don't think they are but not absolutely sure
Not possible for the Jets unless Woody Johnson becomes uninvolved with the team.Yeah it would be great if the Lions win the SB. I like the way they play. I have give Campbell credit he and Brad Holmes have really changed the culture there. That is the kind of of coach that I want for the Jets somebody that will come in and coach the whole team and set the tone for team. That probably won't happen but if it can happen in Detroit it is possible to here with the Jets
I know but I can hope it will happen until it doesn'tNot possible for the Jets unless Woody Johnson becomes uninvolved with the team.
You can hope to win the lottery as well but it's not a smart way to go through life.I know but I can hope it will happen until it doesn't

Thats why I'm pulling so hard for the Lions, I would love to see them win, and win big. Same could be said for the Browns. Football is arguably at its best when teams rise from the ashes and slaughter teams they 'shouldn't' Or it is for me at least. Heck, the early years of Patriots football was great to see...they just didn't stop winning >_< except against the G-Men baby wooooo! And the Chefs a couple years ago, good stuff.I'm still having a hard time accepting the Lions are good when, for the majority of my life, they've been basement dwellers who ruin the careers of generational talent.
Yes, we are. Even if the Seahawks beat us this weekend, we get the division over them because of strength of[UPDATE] Los Angeles Rams are NOT NFC West Champions. They clinched a berth. Changes made.
