Plenty of Americans don't have a problem with this, @Yard_Sale for example, and they won. Deal with it.
Easy to say when you don't have to explain to children why people would want someone to pick cotton or tell them to be a slave

Edit: Let me say this as well I am not upset that Trump I thought there was a very strong possibility that he would win. It looked just like 2016 to me. Hillary raised a 1 billion dollars and so did Kamala. Hillary was supposedly leading in a lot of polls just Kamala. Trump was saying that he is lost it was rigged just like in 2016. So not shocking. I didn't vote for either candidate as I feel that both parties are different sides of the same corrupt coin.

How did they end up fixing the environment problem? Was it because there were a lot fewer people around after the war or did friendly aliens come in and teach them how to fix everything?
I think, just less humans. Nuclear holocaust and all. Don’t recall exactly. Kind of confused as to when the Vulcan’s made contact, vs us nuking ourselves.

When you think about it.. A huge part lf the ‘value,’ of oil and gas products lies in the distribution system. Without that, solar and wind, become a no brainer. Everything becomes self sustaining.

The more I see of Trump's choices for his administration, the more I'm warming to the idea of nuclear holocaust.

Finland and Poland, categorically no chance Russia step foot in either of those without staring WW3.
I guess cryptic comments don't read well on social media. 🤨

I was referencing the Molotov Ribbentrop pact leading up to WWII. Stalin's Soviet Union & Hitler's Germany - two mortal enemies -made a "non-aggression" agreement in 1939 which allowed Poland and the Baltic states to be invaded and partitioned between the two. Stalin claimed to be liberating Finland from "fascist Finns" ... sound familiar?

Russia might feel emboldened to attack other neighbouring nations if Trump's America doesn't stand behind NATO ... and Tusli Gabbard has a history of sympathizing with the Russian position. So, it's not clear at this point what would happen if Russia expanded its imperialist ambitions beyond Ukraine.

I remember decades ago reading the novel by the great Finnish writer Antti Turri (in translation!) about the "Winter War". The Russians had a hard time against winter seasoned and highly motivated Finnish defenders.

Another point on the Gaetz thing...

Would I be sad for congress to have their time taken up impeaching and removing Gaetz when he breaks rampantly breaks the law and pisses off the public? No, that sounds exactly like the kind of thing a Trump congress should be working on. Everything and anything that distracts from actual legislation is good.
I mean, how long does it take to set up a harem of child prostitutes? Like, a week? I bet Gaetz could get it done in a week, he seems motivated.

I'm not sure I'm opposed to Gaetz. Ok hold on, hear me out.

The reason we're in this mess is because people weren't paying attention. We're not going to get out of it until they are. That means that the Trump admin necessarily must be painful. It has to be painful enough that people need to wake up to the idea that there are more important things than cheeseburgers that cost $2 less. Until they can make that choice, there is no hope. So before anything gets better, it needs to get a whole lot worse. And a whole lot worse is Matt Gaetz.

Yes people are going to get hurt. Justice will not be done. Innocent people will suffer. That is baked in to our future.
He's also, helpfully, an idiot. If Trump wants to use the presumed immunity that all Attorneys General now have (so long as they are "officially" operating as the direct enforcement arm of the presumed immune President, of course) and the sacrosanct private presidential communications they will enjoy to arrest political enemies like he basically said he would, I can think of some nomination choices that would be far more concerning for everyone than the one who basically is known as "the guy under investigation for raping someone prior to being nominated".

The considerable time spent making sure his and Trump's crimes disappear is abhorrent; but it's less time spent using the DoJ in its newly Supreme Court-approved role as the Schutzstaffel.

I think all of this crazy. Here in the south I see Trump folks are still angry or they seem that way to me anyway. Trump won and He is going to Make America Great Again. Bring prayer back in schools, end the woke agenda and all that good stuff. So why all of the anger?
Because that's their default state. That's what they live for. They are not comfortable in a modern, diverse world and yearn for things to be "simple" again, meaning "the way they understand them".

When they don't have that familiarity to lean on, they get scared, and since they can't admit being scared, they get angry. And if they can't find enough to be angry about, then they will just make things up so they can maintain the required level of outrage.

None of them are celebrating being white because, well, that's just the way it is.

When I posted that on my FB feed I added a comment to the effect of "And, we're all white because they don't let brown people in here!"
