This new safety car procedure is a bit time consuming...

From bad to worse for AO and Rexy, 10 second stop and go.

Stop and repair black flag for two cars. #14 Lexus and #27 Aston. or is it #12 Lexus?
Pretty sure it was the #12 GTD Lexus.

Anyways, happy to get in and start watching the race, wonder what I've missed...

63 Lambo officially out.

Edit: As an aside, the GTP EV-to-ICE Bump Start will never get old.

Full-course Yellow. The #93 MSR Acura has shut down on the track.

Looks like the left-rear suspension is broken. That wheel has some pretty major camber on it.

I was waiting for Jeremy and Shea and they I googled their names and imsa...
:(
Yep. Shea left on her own accord (A major life change from the way she worded her announcement). Jeremy Shaw's absince is abit more...mysterious.

NBC interviewing the president of Daytona International Speedway. He says they are planning to do something to the bus stop to make it more visually appealing for future races. Glad to see they’ve seen and heard the complaints.

Dunno if it would be feasible or not, but my suggestion would be a (temporary) gantry, spanning from the trackside barrier to the infield.

Strap a few cameras onto it, some advertising or even a small viewing platform for the wealthy fans.

There was a mention earlier, that someone suggested painting the track green inside the bus stop.

The Inception Ferrari came dangerously close to taking out Kobayashi. :scared:

With that, the #40 WTR Cadillac is in the lead. Seems the Caddys are gaining some speed with the sun coming down.
