So 17 hours in finally stops raining. My bobs are tired, as well am I. But to get to the point I have a 1st gen ps3. Went to feel the exhaust fab and feels a bit warmer then normal. Suspend it for now? Or hammer down?:dunce:
Edit!! My bad first post and lost track I was no longer in b spec. Facepalm

I regularly leave my Breville Toaster running for 24hrs or more. As long as there's good ventilation around the unit and you keep the vents free of dust (and dog hair in my case), you should be ok... 👍

I left my 60 gig on for 9 days straight doing b-spec 24 hour races and it didnt die. So I think it just depends on how lucky you feel.

Finished all the way through no shutoff. And I had been playing a few hours before the 24. So I guess the old thing has some life left in her. Not going to risk it again tho, pretty sure I could have fried an egg on the glass surface behind it. On a side note, the x2010 tuned was waaaaaaay to much car won by 141 laps. Did 455 total myself.

I bought an adjustable speed USB fan from Amazon for $15 to pull heat away from mine. I had one to push cool air to the front, but it was defective and they were out of stock. Never bothered to look after.

I have it connected to a 10 port powered USB hub. It has a wall plug for power, no need to leech a PS3 USB port.

What?

Um, err, uh, uuuuh, did'ja say somethin'?

I'm sure you have never purchased something that never went bad right? Like NEVER? If the thing fails after a month, 6 months, after 4 days, it was not without "defect"..... aka defective.

I guess you buy things from places that offer a choice from "the good pile" or "the defective pile".

No no man, must be an understanding. I was just looking for advice and then u were offering it but with what you said about buying the fan and it breaking. So basically not using it or having advice I was just poking fun at that. No harm no foul I guess I worded myself wrong. And trust me for laughs I have have been through 6 zbaux 3****tys. Sorry man bu hard feeling.
