Nissan's maquete of the Nordschleife is to big to take a picture of. The track is that big.
Saturday was cloudy with some sunny patches. The think clouds are a forecast of things to come.
Saturday afternoon. 3 hour classic race. 200 oldies battling it out on the Nordschleife. These cars were not treated softly. At this time I was enjoy a beer a Brunchen.
I did not know that the same time the German police was towing my car away because of not allowed parking. My defence: I was not the only car.
I had to fork out 130 Euro at a police station 6 km from Brunchen. Then I had to collect my car in Hohe Acht (10 km from start/finish. Lesson learned the hard way.
It doesn't get more German than this.
Saturday night was a real blast with the sun setting during the Falken drift show.

Saturday night all hell broke loose. The race was stopped for 9 hours and was restarted at 8AM Sunday.

#1 in qualifying. Scary laptime.
Nice color scheme on this 911. Fresh and modern.
But the historically colors of the Kremer Porsche still looks good too.
The only GTR contending was Schulze's. Great looking car, but the race when not that well.
It looked very promissing during night qualifying, but Kazunori Yamauchi and his team ended way down at the back of the pack.

It's a Toyota GT86 tuned by Gazoo. Turbo and supercharged it puts 330 horses on the rear wheels.
