Sorry risingson77. Tofu originally said "late Friday night", which it was starting to feel like to me. :P

Anyway, my NSX R time posted above is invalid. With nothing else adjustable on the car, I forgot to go to Settings and zero out the ASM and TCS. No wonder I thought it handled so sweet. :embarrassed:

So I ran a few laps with the right settings, but I'll wait to post the new time until Tofu gives the word, or until I'm ready to turn in. Tofu is a couple of time zones west of us.

YIPEEE!!!!!!!!

Sorry I havent posted up in awhile. Nice looking times from everyone so far. I have a time from risingson.

In a car that lacks just about everything that is supposed to make cars badass.... The turboless, non-AWD Honda.

Risingson threw down a 2'00.998. No one else has sent theirs so we'll all just post up in the thread.

Gotta find my piece of paper from a couple days ago with my time on it...... really sorry I havent posted up. Gladius came out and damn that game is addicting. So I only put in a few hours the first couple of days on this sport race. So lets everyone show each other up with our times in here and I'll post a spot race later tonight after I get back from being out.

i'll post my time up soon. im tryin to get a last minute run w/ the EVO VII, im on the verge of somthin good, just need a clean save :irked:

OK, now it is late! :P

The NSX R was a little more work to drive with the "aids" turned off, but a bit quicker too:

NSX R: 16.900 1'05.272 1'58.818

Lost a couple of tenths in that first sector, but hit the remaining turns about as good as I could. I'll see how bad IDAFC21 smoked me in the AM.

OK guys Im puttin up the a different spot race. Keep puttin times in here so we see who was the 280hp KING.

New spot race will be ZXvsRZ

OK ladies and gents, the moment youve been waiting for. My time, w/ great thanks to the fabulous Honda NSX S-Zero. I knew this was a good car, but never knew to what extent. and now i do, and have much more respect for it than i did before. and w/out further ado ::drumroll::

1'56.975 :) I'll get a replay up in a few minutes for any NTSC'ers that wanna view it. its really a piece of work. (best view is from the bumper cam, the one REALLY close to the ground. hehe)

And for fun. i'd like to put forth an UNOFFICIAL time for the EVO VII. its unofficial because there was a SLIGHT wall scratch on that sweeping left hander right before that tight u-bend at the end of the track. its barely noticable, but there was a slight twitch in my speed between 76-77mph so there was a scratch. but this run was so close to perfect i didnt wanna bother trying any more
split times in this lap were 16.6/1'05.4 and a final time of:

1'58.652 Again, its a null run cuz of the wall scratch. but its so slight i really doubt it could've hurt/helped me in any way. i just wanted to throw that up to show people that a little 4cyl 4-door car can be just as competive as an MR race-bred car. hehe i'll put a replay up for that too.

this was a fun spot race! in the end i almost like this one better now than the first one. it really opened my eyes to a couple cars and gave me a little more respect for em. especially the EVO VII

No i didnt, i went straight for the good stuff :mischievous:

heres the replay

Very nice times man........

LOL yes........ I was hoping some ppl would realize that the little four holes that could........ well actually could........ doesnt sound like anyone really tried anything else much...

Nice times, guys. I tried like hell to get under two minutes, but couldn't quite do it. Having said that, I'll probably go and run a sub-two minute run now. :P

This competition has refined my car handling skills. I never used the sim tires very much before this. Now I can't stand the feel of the regular tires!

if we couldve been allowed to give the EVO some suspension upgrades, i think we couldve seen a LOT more out of it. that was its biggest downfall. that thing had so much body roll that if you threw that thing around a turn too quickly, there was no stopping it. except for the wall. haha. a little suspension work couldve easily prevented my wall scratch. that turn was the killer for this car, i could never take that one right, in fact, that was the probably the cleanest id ever made it thru that one. haha. oh well. it was still hella fun to drive
