My statement was just a matter of fact, no aggression in the post whatsoever. I accept it's racing and everyone makes mistakes, but I see no problem in pointing out to someone when they make a mistake. But I'll never do that in an attacking sense, so apologies Pepsi if the above quote came across like that.

Woops, sorry, I was going to quote what you said and say something else, but decided against it, I'm not going to make this worse, I just want it sorted out.

Well then, officially Pepsi0's seat is open for all takers.

Also, tables have been updated :)

Just thought I better say I apologies to PepsiO for anything I might have said in that piece earlier that may have sounded unjust. Its not that I dont want him here, quite the opposite, I'd love to see him improve and become more involved with the rest of the group so as he can enjoy the races as much as the rest of us. If that doesnt sound elitest??

Edit: Now it might be a bit late, so I might be thinking too far outside the box, but its worth a try anyway. Heres what I've noticed. Team Aguri seem to be pulling away at the top of the leader board quite easily with both Sureshot and Gyles scoring a lot of points each race. And then Team Jordan seem to be breaking away from Jaguar but then also loosing to Aguri, so I dont see the point in having one team at the top one in the middle and then a three way battle for last. So heres my suggestion, a 3 member team for Jordan. If I could join them and add my points to that team it would bring them closer to Aguri, which would encourage a greater contest for the lead of the constructors title. Also I suggest this because I will hardly make many races after next week, so the total of our 3 points should only be enough to make the difference to keep up with Aguri, it would still be up to Appie and Shaggy to beat Aguri.

What do you guys all think, is it a good idea or not, feel free to criticise.

That is quite a good idea, but I do agree with Ardius. And the only reason Jaguar is falling behind in third is because the team only has one driver! Apart from Melbourne when Ardius valiantly stepped in and gained us a point :D

Also, I wasn't attacking Pepsi, or not trying to. I just tried to suggest looking back every now and then so that consideration to other drivers could be made. So sorry for any offence :S.

Edit: Also I would like to add that I absolutely loathe Catulunya, it is by far my least favourite and worst track ever. I will most likely be 5-6 seconds slower than the fastest guys, probably going around the 1:18s :(.

I have no doubt Lofasz finished where he said he did. I dont believe for a second that Lofasz was REALLY a lap down.

1- Chibos1 (11pts)Fast lap also
2-Zeroduck1 (8pts)
3-RACECAR (6pts)
4-Lofasz (5pts)
5-JWLennon(4pts)
6-Mofongo273 (3pts
7-DaddyVDUB(2pts)
8-Camicaze(1pt)
9-Sumptington(0)
10-Docben (0)

No hate Lofasz but I'm not happy with the guessing game to determine final positions. I feel sorry for those that were affected but I also have glitches on my own that I don't mention. For instance, I've been kicked out qualification on the last two races, so I have started from the back of the grid. My problem could be a network problem, well, so is any glitch. It was painful for me to start from the back at Imola where I know I'm competitive (Imola is my favorite circuit).

 Valiant is a good word for it, lol. I hadn't practiced before that and I was miles off the pace I did catch Appie and Sureshot for a while but eventually spun too much. I was happy with it though because for a spur-of-the-moment drive, it wasn't too shabby.

I wasn't implying people were so much attacking pepsi on purpose, just making it seem like it. I know none of you meant offense and I rather hope Pepsi would have seen it this way. On the other hand, it had gotten out of hand how you were all berating him every race, constructive criticsm or not.....but I also am not going to defend him anymore. This happened too much last season and it has happened too much this season and I myself have been victim of some of his questionable driving.

I'm trying to be as fair as I can here, I've tried not to be harsh on him and I didn't want it to seem I was insulting him in any way, but in the end, when someone causes this many arguments and still doesn't admit that they did anything wrong, I can't keep defending them. I'd rather not have said that, but I give up.

No offense, but everyone was warned about this glitch issue before the race. I had no idea a qualifying glitch even existed and I'm sorry to hear that it affected you more than once. Network problems and game glitches are two seperate problems, if there is a network problem there is not much I can do about it. However, if there is indeed a qualifying glitch and it happens quite often, then I would allow races to be restarted completely and allow a fair qualifying session to take place or even ditch qualifying.
I will keep an eye on this issue and we will try to compensate in future races, just as we did for this race and the lapping problem.

So who is going to be turning up to Catalunya? And what sorts of times will they be getting around the really annoying, stupid track?

Yeah, Catalunya is definately my least favorite track in the game. I wish they'd switch the Spanish GP to Jerez.

That's about the fastest i've ever managed at Catalunya online. The problem is that this track is actually very satisfying and fun to drive if you get a good set-up with enough downforce, but online you get terminal understeer the whole way through the lap and it's a fairly frustrating experience.

Catalunya is one of the toughest tracks for sure. I have spent quite a bit of time trying to sort out cornering speed and the proper apex. Turn 1 is one of the most important corners - hitting the apex right and be able to go full-trottle through the imediate left out of turn 1 is key. Most of the turns are tough and varied. Hitting the proper apex and exist speed takes a while to learn. I'm still trying to sort out a couple of corners.

On a very fast lap I can get into the 1:12s with a slipstream. Otherwise 1:13's-1:14's depending on track conditions, air temperature, and wind direction etc...

xALONZOx F1CE videos - 1 HOT LAP on each track: http://www.xracerzx.net/2.html

xALONZOx recorded 1 hot lap on each track. Click on each track and you will find a track map with a video. xALONZOx is one of the fastest drivers in F1CE.

And the best part is he is my friend:sly: We raced last night for the first time (for some reason, we could never get on at the same time) and he is good. He also a G25 user.

Woah, this person is very good, incredible late braking 👍

Very strange way of driving. I noticed your guy Ranieri drives exactly like that as well, hard late braking, uninterupted throttle and banging off the rev limiter before every upshift. He seems to just launch out of the corners, I don't know how he does it, it's as if he has Nos in his car.

Yep, I just don't understand how they can brake so late, defo using the gears to brake. :dopey: The banging off the rev limiter is because they are using manual gears, don't you use manual with the wheel ?

Oh who is Ranieri ?

After a few rounds at Cataluyna with Formulanone and Chibos1 I learned something today,I'm way off there speed Chibos 1.13s Z 1.15s OOOAAAHHH.

Daymn, that is quick! Personally I have made some improvements, going from 1:18s to consistent 1:16s and occasionally the 1:17 mark, with getting a fastest lap of 1:15.820, which is a huge improvement, but I will still need to go a hell of a lot faster if I am going to score some decent points this weekend. I need to try to stay in the position I am in the championship after all.

Yeah I started around 1:18.5 the other day. Got it down to 1:17 flat. Having trouble with understeer on the last few corners. I can tune that out in single player but online, it's really affecting me.
