In my case though, i could never enter this  All my custom brushes are pngs, which are essentially images.

Sounding like a total noob here but could someone explain this? I've always wondered what brushes create these effects?

In simpleton terms, what he's saying is, the brushes he uses are made from images. That can be done by inserting an image or pattern into photoshop, making a selection of said image and then from the "Edit" menu, select "Define As Brush". Thus they are from another source external to that of Photoshop.

He could however make "patterns" inside photoshop and use them as brushes, as well as making other types of abstract brushes like smoke or rain by use the filters provided, or filter plug-ins.

Kapeesh?

looks a bit dark in the thumbnail so make sure you view in full size.
I've also had this picture for so long so its not my best work.

I would like 3.0 to stay, especially if it has very loose themes

Doh, sorry for the double post. Damn iPhone app looked like it was hanging and didn't post the first time but it did. My bad.

Anyone know if this is possible in GIMP?

I am working on something and hope to get it in before closing but it's going to take some time - the (evil) brain-child of bmxmitch actually, something he suggested I do a looong time ago. :sly:

Sorry BkS, but going along with the rules, the logo is disallowed, unless you drew it yourself.

You could get around it by shooting a closeup of the logo on the car in GT5 then cutting that out and pasting it in as it's still a GT5 object. ;)

I actually took it from the GT5 menus, haha. XD (I've got a HD PVR). Doesn't that count? :(

If not, I can always change it.
