And welcome to the latest edition of the interview a Photomode gallery owner, I am your host TVR_Fan.
This edition stars Bram Turismo or Ultrashot as he use to be known, but I would like to let the people know we had some technical problems before this started. Anyway please welcome Bram to the stage.
TVR&FF: "So Bram, do you want to say anything before we depth deeper into this interview."
Bram: "Hey there everyone, it is too bad this interview couldn't be done in Skype or audio, because of a lot of problems. Anyway, I'm looking to those questions...Hit me!"
TVR&FF: "Oh yea Team Speak, couldn't they have a simple button called, Join with no problems"
Bram: "It was a pain"
TVR&FF: "Then again you will know about internet problems."
Bram: "The audio went perfectly though, untill you tried to record it."
TVR&FF: "It recorded fine, but all they did, was they lied about the whole 30 minutes thing, instead I could only work with 2 minutes of recording allowed for one file."
"However I am not going to pay out for the software neither, because it is a bit cheeky to pay for a simple recording package."
Bram: "Spot on"
TVR&FF: "However at least there was a backup plan, but don't worry I will still offer audio interviews in the future, as long as no problems ever happen again."
Bram: "There's always audacity, which I use for the podcasts...Speaking of podcasts, I was wondering whether the people at GTP were still interested in it..."
TVR&FF: "Yea, before we went on with this interview Bram said he may not do it again. However I would like Bram to bring the podcast back and still accept a co-host."
"But the only thing, I hope gets fixed for Bram is the Team Speak problems he got."
Bram: "I can do via audacity, it’s very simple"
*TVR&FF yells, Nice*
Bram: "It records everything you say so I simply have to turn some things so it records what you're saying as well."
TVR&FF: "Shame I did not know about that, but at least it gives me hope for giving me a chance to join in. However if I had to do audio over a chat type of thing, I would leave that to Bram."
"But then again I could not settle down to that program, because we could not keep this interview out for too long."
TVR&FF goes on to say, "But while on the subject of problems, people will know before we had a long delay before today. However I still think that delay is still in the mind of Bram."
Bram: "Yes, it lasted for about an hour"
TVR&FF: "No before that"
Bram: "We had a delay to attempt this interview again."
TVR&FF: "Remember it was because of snow."
Bram: "Apologies for that"
TVR&FF: "It’s alright"
Bram: "Snow and exams killed my spare time of late."
TVR&FF: "I don't like rushing people, but as long as you’re safe that all that matters."
Bram: "But then again, my exams went perfect so I'm happy."
TVR&FF: "So we could say the delay was worth it."
Bram: "Maybe, yes"
TVR&FF: "However it did give you time to finish those exams, which are just a pile of numbers and letters."
Bram: "It wasn't that hard actually."
TVR&FF: "But back to the whole delay subject, the delay could mainly be referred as a dog scratching at the door, who wants to come in from the cold."
TVR&FF then goes on to say, "Talking about dogs, do you have any pets Bram?"
"And if you do, do they interfere with your work sometime."
Bram: "I have a cat, named Barney"
TVR&FF: "I have a cat as well"
Bram: "Barney only sleeps the whole day, while doing the sleeping next to my bed every night."
"Even if it’s really cold, even on my bed"
TVR&FF: "You should see my Cat, because he acts like a little baby, when he is not, but what does this all mean, he goes near my mum, which involves him chewing or licking her on some parts."
"However have you had any moments of the cat bothering you while you’re working, like crying for food."
Bram: "Not really. However we do feed him in the morning, but since he sleeps the whole of the day, he really doesn't bother us."
TVR&FF: "The only thing my Cat does is bring in dead birds and mouse’s a lot of time. And then after all that he leaves it for my mum to find."
Bram: "Barney does that too, but mostly he asks for attention in the evenings, when we're watching TV."
TVR&FF: "Or my favourite all time moment, which are current cat has done, which is, one time my mum found a dead mouse in the washing machine."
"But what did this mean, my Mum thought are Cat brought it in."
Bram: "Ouch, your clothes must've smelled..."
TVR&FF: "Well my Cat does some weird things like it can do magic, some days, which is when he is outside, while we out the cat gets back inside."
*Bram Laughs*
TVR&FF then goes on to say, "Back to the subject about the cat bringing a dead mouse in and putting it in the washing machine, before the clothes went through the washing machine, my mum found the dead mouse."
"However if my clothes went through the washing machine, they may of been covered in blood."
*Bram licks his lips and goes yummy*
TVR&FF: "But what is your cat’s favourite place to sleep, other then your bed."
Bram: "The sofa"
TVR&FF: "Are cat likes to sleep behind the TV AV Stand, but what does this mean?
Well he sleeps on top of all the cables. However I would have loved to see him move so much, that it yanks my Dad's TV off the stand."
"Then again if that happened, I would be saying, what’s that fire fur ball?"
*Bram laughs*
TVR&FF: "Anyway we do more of this chatting later on, but time to get to the first question."
*Bram shakes his head and goes ok*
TVR&FF: "This question comes from Loon, which may produce a shock from Bram:
Do you ever go back to GIMP for a little bit of editing, just for fun?"
Bram: "Ahahaha, shock...Well, since I started with Photoshop 10 months ago, I haven't touched Gimp. However, I do feel like updating that one last time with a Gimp shot..."
TVR&FF: "You know you could use Gimp and PS on the same piece together."
"In other words mix and match the work together."
Bram: "The good, old times"
TVR&FF: "Anyway now from a question from the speeding speedster."![Smile :) :)](/wp-content/themes/gtp16/images/smilies/smile.svg?v=3)
Bram: "Ah, my biggest fan"
TVR&FF: "What is your all time favourite track to take photos at?"
Bram: "Well, if people look throughout my gallery, it's pretty obvious that would be New York. Because well the fences which provide all you need for a perfect blur and the lovely reflections, gets me back to NY over and over again."
TVR&FF: "If you wanted to see a track in GT5 out of these two tracks what would it be out of Thruxton or Sebring."
Bram: "Hard question, probably Sebring since it's so famous among the Le Mans series. But Thruxton always makes a nice BTCC race."
TVR&FF: "Thruxton was also used in the 2nd World War, for airfields. However back to video games and you know Sebring is in FM2, which is GT5's main rival."
Bram: "I didn't know that but then again, I can't be bothered to pay for all those expenses consoles these days, I'm working very hard to get my drivers license since it costs 2,000 dollars here..."
TVR&FF: "But If you had the money, would you buy both a 360 and PS3 for both games.
Bram: "If I had the money and I wouldn't know what to do with that money, yes.
TVR&FF: "If you had to look at Photomode work out of any of these games on the Xbox 360:
*TDU
*PGR3
*PGR4
*FM2
What would it be?"
"But the main reason I am asking this is I reckon the FM2 Photomode scene will be big."
Bram: "Forza Motorsport 2, to see how they do compared to GT4's photomode."
TVR&FF: "I think it is good FM2 has one, while being out on the 8th of June in Europe."
Bram: "Are you going to buy it?"
"Also another little question, how do you get your images onto your PC from PGR3?"
TVR&FF: "Yea, because remember I do Photomode work in PGR3 and TDU at the moment alongside my GT4 and GTHD shots. And if you want to know about how I get my Photomode shots from PGR3, then well they use a website upload feature, which can be worked with if you want more then 5 images a day."
"However let’s get back to the GT series, would you love to see weather effects in GT5."
Bram: "Day-night changes would be more interesting in my opinion, which would be good for the 24 hour races."
TVR&FF: "That effect brings back memories of an old LeMans 24 hours racing game."
Bram: "Yes, I had an LM game for the PlayStation, which was a lot of fun."
TVR&FF: "But if they did a 24 hour race in GT5, they would need a save feature as an option, so you can save at a point in the race if you wish."
Bram: "And no B-spec driver"
*Bram goes on to shake his head in agreement, for a save option feature in 24 hour races during pit stops or while racing*
TVR&FF: "When I had to do the GT4 24 hour races, while I was out at a race weekend to watch some motorsports, I had to do it in B-Spec because I did not have the time."
"Which made me nervous because I was hoping my mum would not forget to not turn my PS2 off.
Bram adds, "I only did the Nurburgring 24 hour race so far."
TVR&FF: "Talking about long hours, what’s the longest you have stayed up for non stop?"
Bram: "Me? I can't remember, last year when I was in Germany with my school, we were drunk everyday, I know, don't ask ahahaa, but I didn't sleep for 2 days and afterwards, I had to catch a plane so that would make it 2.5 days."
TVR&FF: "The most for me was 3 days, but did you read in the past people have died for staying up too long."
"Some of the old non sleeping related deaths have been related to gaming, which happen to some Korean gamers, who played far too much of an MMO."
Bram: "I don't game that much, especially PC games, but I never play more than an hour a day on the PC."
TVR&FF: "However while on the subject of gaming and non sleep related deaths, you know you can die from not sleeping because the body needs it."
Bram: "Of course"
TVR&FF: "The only other problem with lack of sleep is it plays some weird tricks on your mind."
Bram: "Your body will fall asleep eventually."
TVR&FF: "I remember when I was up for 2 days, because of playing too much and staying up for too long, while having my shift changes the next day, I started to hear GT4 car sounds in my mind."
"But what does this mean, GT4 can really do stuff like that too you."
Bram: "Hallucinations, I love them!"
Bram adds, "I once heard people calling my name but no one was there."
TVR&FF: "Maybe they were lost souls or maybe it was GTPlanet stalking you. But what does this all mean well Speedster is your stalker."
Bram: "Ahahahaha, maybe he found a way to get into my mind."
Bram then goes on to say, "You will love Speedster...!" Ahahaha, no hard feelings there Speedy."![Wink ;) ;)](/wp-content/themes/gtp16/images/smilies/wink.svg?v=3)
TVR&FF: "The only thing he has to worry about is when he walks over your anti protector home land mines."
"Now with 50% more boom."
Bram: “The lasers"
*TVR&FF laughs*
TVR&FF: "Don't worry Speedster, but just to let you know I really am alright with you, also don't worry about the jokes because we were joking."
"However the only thing you may need to worry about is the sniper."![Sly :sly: :sly:](/wp-content/themes/gtp16/images/smilies/sly.svg?v=3)
Bram adds this about Speedster, "Yes, I've spotted some serious improvements of late buddy, so keep at it!"
TVR&FF: "Here here"
TVR&FF: "Anyway now for the next question, before Speedster starts to think different things about us. But just to let everyone know the next question is a long one from Beerzgood, which is really a long question:
How do you decide how a photo will come out? Do you already have a perfectly defined idea of how you want it to be in the end, or you decide while working on it what works best with that specific image?"
Bram: "Well, believe it or not, I get inspiration from others, like Beerzgood and Speedster who have been great inspiration sources for me lately. But I rarely produce something which was 100% my own idea.
However I try to re-create other images and best as possible, adding my own touches and of course, a different car"
TVR&FF: "Before them, who gave you inspiration?
Out of people, who had galleries running since 2005 or 2004?"
Bram: "I wasn't there in the 2004 and 2005 age I think, but I joined in with the Photomode fun in 2006 if I remember it correctly."
"But I have been missing treefingers though."
TVR&FF: "Anyway now for a question from Tommi2000, How long does it usually take for you to 'clean up' a Picture?"
Bram: "Depends on the work needed, for a PMC ruled entry, no longer than 1 minute. Images done in Photshop usually take up 2 hours, if I'm really into it, 5-6 hours but that's very rare"
TVR&FF: "The thing people should also remember it depends on the skill level someone is at."
Bram: "Indeed"
TVR&FF: "Experience can mainly decide on how the work will come out. In other words if someone is starting to work on a piece for 2 hours for there first time, someone who has more experience come produce something better."
"Which can be done in an hour or less, also another thing is spending a bit of time on one piece of a car and doing the same amount of time on the other pieces helps out a lot, instead of spending more time on one part of the image, then the other pieces in the image."
Bram: "Yep"
Bram goes on to say, "I remember in my Gimp photo editing days, it took me 4 hours to produce something, which can be done in 30 minutes now."
TVR&FF: "Now for a question from GT40 MKII, any advice you can give to people just starting to use PS?"
Bram: "Many people begin to make threads on GTP about how to start, I recommend reading the tutorials posted at GTP. But in the very beginning, do only little and advance on that, don't try to do too much you know very little of."
TVR&FF: "Talking about tutorials, do you have plans to produce any new tutorials, or even what two people do you want to make some tutorials."
Bram: "I'm far too busy at the moment, but I am planning on getting the Hall of Fame finished first."
TVR&FF: "Now for a question from Franz, so are you ready for this."
Bram: "Of course"
TVR&FF: "I can see you get so much inspiration from 440 Charger, what will you do if 440 Charger disappear for a long period of time?"
Bram: "Anyway, that would be a shame but since I started to copy his style. But still I have always wanted to be the one that fills up the gap when he leaves."
TVR&FF: "This question comes in from garnettrules21, Top.....8 galleries you enjoy viewing the most and get inspiration from?"
Bram: "I don't view galleries that much lately...But these 8 would have to be my pick:
*440 Charger
*Alexwrc
*Moglet
*franz
*Funkshen
*Beerzgood
*Sejtur
*LGforce's
However I still get inspiration from many others."
TVR&FF: "Now it is time for the last question from jgda9rs, which is related to the Photomode Tournament, which happened before the latest Photomode tournament:
What are your thoughts on the results of our battle for the second round of the Photomode tournament?"
Bram: "Ahahaha! I knew he would ask that! Well, they surprised me actually, he kept up with me really good, although my entry was really bad. However of late, a lot of members are acting like I'm the biggest on GTP which is something I can strongly disagree in.
But face the truth, I've only won a comp twice, Tournament and an H2H week but besides that, nothing. However it feels good that people say "You're such pro" but sometimes it irritates me as I'm not."
TVR&FF: "Talking about the Photomode tournament, what was the shock of the round in the PMC 2.0 bracket in the Photomode Tournament before the current one?"
Bram: "It would have to be SlipZtrEm and LGforce. But then again, SlipZtrEm had to go on against Moglet so either way, it would be sad to have one of those 2 leaving so early."
TVR&FF: "What was the shock of the first round in PMC 2.0 for the current tournament?"
Bram: "SlipZtrEm and Drift2XS, but they did have difficult opponents."
TVR&FF: "Anyway who do you think will win the PMC 2.0 part of the current tournament?"
Bram: "I have no idea, but sejtur's style suits me more so I think my vote is going towards him."
Bonus Questions Round
TVR&FF: "Mac or PC?"
Bram: "I never used a Mac before, so it has to be the PC."
TVR&FF: "The Mac lovers are not going to like you."
*Bram laughs*
TVR&FF: "What Photo Editing program do you use mainly?"
Bram: "Photoshop 9.0 CS2"
TVR&FF: "Same here, anyway time for the next bonus question:
What’s you’re Favourite type of engine?"
Bram: "3.0 Litre, 6 cylinder, basically the engine of the Supra, the 2JZ-GTE is a pure Mustang eater."
TVR&FF: "What’s you’re Favourite 10 Photomode people?"
Bram: "I don't have any favourites, but a lot of people give me some good laughs so I'll name 10 of them:
*440 Charger
*Moglet
*Alexwrc
*Garnettrules 21
*Sejtur
*SlipZtrEm
*Beerzgood
*Drift2XS
*freddy86
*725"
TVR&FF: "Your favourite all time 5 Car models?"
Bram: "Toyota Supra, Toyota Mr2, Toyota BJ40, Aston Martin Vanquish and the Toyota GT-One, but I am a big Toyota fanboy."
TVR&FF: "When GT5 comes out, what will you are mainly working on for the first year of GT5?"
Bram: "Exploring all the races and mainly the 24 hour races and enjoying the 24 or 26 car field."
TVR&FF: "Who out of these 2 people would you like to do a Photomode gallery – Ken Kutaragi or Kazunori Yamauchi?"
Bram: "Kazunori Yamauchi"
TVR&FF: "If you could improve GT4 Photomode, what would you do in the game, and how do you hope GT5 will take the Photomode to the next stage?"
Bram: "Improve the scenery, the quality you get when it's transferred to your PC, it looks far too grey now, no watermark.
And last but not least a choice of weather conditions or daytimes, with these options, morning, noon, evening, etc."
TVR&FF: "Ok thanks for the interview Bram Turismo, but before we finish this up, if you had some wise words to say to people how they can improve there shots, what would they be in 5 words."
Bram: "In 5 words?"
TVR&FF: "Yep"
Bram: "Do not give up folks!"
TVR&FF: "Nicely done, anyway I hope you have enjoyed this interview, as much as me and Bram have liked bringing it too you.
Bram: "It was a pleasure"
TVR&FF: "Bye Bram" *shakes hands*
*Bram Shakes with sweat covered hand, heavily*

TVR&FF: "Maybe they were lost souls or maybe it was GTPlanet stalking you. But what does this all mean well Speedster is your stalker."
Bram: "Ahahahaha, maybe he found a way to get into my mind."
Bram then goes on to say, "You will love Speedster...!" Ahahaha, no hard feelings there Speedy."
"However the only thing you may need to worry about is the sniper."
