What is being worked on in the last few months? Or would the game be complete at this point and they are just waiting for the perfect release time?

I reckon if PD has come up with the better engine sounds, may be They are saving it for GT7.

Surely all that stuff is done? I doubt they are out there still sampling engine sounds. Maybe they are tinkering with the already sampled sounds to make them better?

Although I think the sounds are alright, I think there is only so much they can do for the average gamers sound system.

I think they are adding new sounds to the game right now. :D

You know they could still be doing sounds, they said they're not completely ditching standards so there's still 1,000+ cars, 1 a day maybe and that's every car if they'd been doing it since Gran Turismo 5's release but more than likely they're not all changed. They could always do it up to final stages and then keep adding through updates.

And half of them are Miata's so there's a chance all sounds will be updated in time :P

Yeah they could do it through updates, I'm sure they fiddled with the third person view a few times that way.

I didn't know what wabi-sabi was either.

Wabi-sabi is like pulling an interior petal from a perfectly-symmetrical rose, thus queering the spiral. It is no longer symmetrical, but there is beauty in its flaws.

They are probably creating license test, tweaking small things, possibly sounds. Making the Gui buttons work. Just little things, like that, that you cant release without it. tweaking the course maker... copy and pasting code from GT1-4 for something that they forgot to add... painting more helmets...

Usually at this time before a release no new content is implemented and no changes to the game coding should be made unless a major bug arises.

Yeah, I looked it up (thanks for teaching me something); but I'm not sure CJSpencer77 believes GT5 was beautiful because of its flaws.

We're not quite there, I don't think. PD should still be in crunch mode to get the things in that should be in.

Modeling the last few Miatas out of the 500+ different versions oh and maybe adding something really stupid and restrictive like the paint chip system.

It's done. They're just adding a simulation for losing your keys. Whenever you go into a different menu screen, there's a chance you will lose the keys for your current car there. To find them, you have to go to your garage, re-select the car that you lost the keys for and via 5 different sub menus you have to enable key search mode. Then you go around to all the different menus and look for a tiny 1 second long sparkle which only occurs every 30 seconds and click on it while it's sparkling.

For each event you finish in b-spec you get 1 lanyard for one certain cars set of keys (you may not own this car and lanyards only work on that specific car). However, b-spec bob has a 90% chance of losing the keys somewhere in the pit. To find them you need to search each pit bay, with a 30 second loading screen between each one.

Lanyards will also be available as DLC in random generated car packs of 5 for the low price of $4.99 each pack. You don't find out what cars lanyard you get until after you've bought it, and you can get double ups.
