3 sec for 28k?

hello everyone i'm new here .. enough of the bs
this guy in a shop said he could make a Skyline r34 900HP and 0-60 in 3 seconds for just 100k dhs .. which is around 28k dollars, i dont own a nissan skyline yet but i might buy one used .. 0-60 in 3 is unbelievable!:drool: !! so what do you guys think is it worth it? or can i do it cheaper somewhere else?
 
Buy a Westfield Megabusa. £25,000 (about $18,000) gets you 0-60mph in 3.3s, redline at 11,000rpm and lap times the Skyline can only dream of... :D

Plus with a 1.3i engine, you get lower road tax... :D
 
... and a chance to sand most of the skin and major muscle groups right off of your skeleton.

it depends....If he can, make sure he has dyno charts to prove it....also ask him what he does...in order to do that there's a turbo upgrade...plus at 900hp the stock block has a design flaw that causes them to crack between the #3 and #4 cylinder. So the next step would be a Nismo N1 block running about 2000 dollars....that also means forged pistons and reworking the entire top and bottom end.....not to mention parts for Skylines are very expensive so for 28K I might be kinda suspicious....

What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon (and 12 subsequent weeks in a hospital)? :D

Mind you the running costs compared to a 900hp Skyline would be miniscule... Especially as you can buy a Megabusa kit-form for £14k... :D

nO man he said he can actually do that to an r34 .. i even thought it was a bit pricey before posting here .. but if you look at it .. add up the prices of everything the guy's gonna add .. hks turbo, intercooler, muffler, wastegate and EvErything else .. it all adds up to around 20k .. and this shop is reliable he's done some of my friend's cars.
 
which HKS turbo? and with that kind of HP it would have to be the whole kit...HKS turbo's are also the most expensive...who makes the muffler? ask him if you can get a full list of modifactions and I can try to look em all up...
 
Correct me If I'm wrong, but isn't a Skyline a sub 5 second car?

If that's the case, he's asking 28k just to shave another 2 seconds off?

huh sub 5 seconds? I dont think so....I mean you could probably build one but I havent heard of one yet....
