After going to Singapore, Siem Reap and Kuala Lumpur, we came back to Macau for one more day, before heading to Hong Kong.

I've said this before, but again, excellent pictures.

I'm looking forward to Hong Kong!

^^ Well, here we go... ;)

Unfortunately, not only I was in HK just a few hours, but also a full half day was wasted at Stanley. I was there in 2005 as well and never liked the place very much.

This is gorgeous. Love this shot, but the white in center is just a bit too distracting, pulling attention from the subtle asymmetry that just flows. That and the lower left corner (almost said front left because of how good the sense of depth is) is just a touch bright.

It also feels deceptively wide despite the 50mm focal length.

What would you do, if you were post-processing it? Dodge & burn?

Even I was surprised, when I was copy/pasting the EXIF info.

Thanks for the input. Really appreciate it. 👍

I'd burn in the unevenness in the bottom left and probably the stalls at the end of the road. I really want to go back to HK and do some street there, your photos make me terribly jealous!

^^ Even I miss it terribly already...
Thanks for the tip. 👍

Obviously the f/22 part was a mistake (due to acting quicky) but at least I got the shot.

Wow... Good these are all good shots. Do you mind giving me a wallpaper size of that Lamborghini shot? Think it'll look good.

So, this is my last shot from Hong Kong and basically the last shot from this great Asian trip (still a couple of airport shots to come, but no big deal).

Basically, I've been posting photos of this trip for 6 months (1-per-day average)! That's too much.

Two notes:
- need to be more selective and post less photos;
- need to catch up with all the photos from last year.

^^ Thanks a lot. 👍

Thanks for the pictures of Hong Kong; I know that you weren't a big fan of your work there, but I still really appreciated you posting them. It's such an interesting contrast between those city scenes and the essentially rainforest areas of Cambodia before.

Also, nice Lufthansa A330.

^ Oh, my pleasure. And I'm glad you liked them. Thank you very much. ;) 👍

^ Beautiful. 👍 Superb colors.

Although you could probably say some of your digital photos are film and I may not notice, I really love the look of film. I'm sure it's all in my head but it just looks real, or like the photo is actually living or something, can't really explain it. I have yet to get the process of scanning down to get some natural colors, or even get the exposure correct out of the camera but I can't wait till I do. Do you scan your own negatives or have them put on a cd when developed?

^ No, it is definitely not in your head. Film looks special and it is irreplaceable. It has soul.

I have them developed and put on a CD in a store (unfortunately). It costs my a whopping 10€ per roll. Insane, really.
I have yet to find a deal on a used scanner, but I have to do it as soon as possible.

Appreciate the input. 👍
