  • At Least 2 Tires must be in contact with track at all times.
    • In situations where contact with the track is not possible because tires are airborne (above the ground), then the run is only legal if at least two tires in-line would have made contact with the track if the car were not airborne.
    • If track contact cannot be 100% determined, then consider it dirty.
  • Rumble/ripple strips are part of the track.
  • No contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
  • If you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
  • No hybrids
  • No cheating of any kind, these are relaxed races and we are experienced racers, we know what times can be done, and we can read your mind. We will know.
  • Nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules.
Race Specifics (Rules for This Specific Event):
  • Red and White Rumble Strips and Tarmac are Track Surface. No other surfaces are track.
  • Painted Tarmac (White Stripes and Blue Borders) is track.
Steward's Comments:
On to a high HP Rally car this week. The Sports Soft tires actually make it a bit more forgiving, with progressive slides as opposed to fast snaps. Be sure and make adjustments on the in race tuning menu to the torque split and brake balance, they make a big difference.

Viewing your T1, T2 & T3 Sector Times:
  • You need to make sure you save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay' (See pic below)
  • To view your best lap replay, go to 'My Library' and watch the replay from there using the 'Replays' option.
  • While viewing your Replay, enter the live timing screen to view your sector 1, sector 2 and sector 3 splits. You will need to do this after your car has passed the third split location.
  • Simply post the splits that are shown in the live timing screen, and our Fetchbot will parse them and add them together for your total sector time.

Submission:
All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 3 Submission ) to (WRSFetchbot):
  • Please submit your FULL LAP TIME in the following format on a single line:
    Time: X:XX.XXX
    (Example-) 1:10.100
  • You will get an automated response within 15min, letting you know whether your submission was accepted, or if you had an error.
  • For those of you who were used to submitting replays on GT6, we no longer have the ability to export the files.
  • If you have an error, don't panic. Just review the instructions for submission and submit again. If you are having trouble and cannot figure it out, please post your question in the race thread.
  • Users can ask the bot for the current submitted time by sending a message with the Subject: "GTP_WRS Week XX Get Entry" and any text in the body.
  • Users can delete their submitted time by sending a message with the Subject: "GTP_WRS Week XX Remove Entry" and any text in the body.
  • If you want to submit multiple times in the week that is still not a problem. Just reply to the conversation with your new time. Fetchy always uses the last submitted time as the final one.
  • The deadline is Monday, December 18th 11:59pm GMT
  • If you are unsure of the deadline try this site
Why Use GMT?:

GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Replay Checking:

  • Division winners and overperformers will be required to submit a replay via GT Sport Share function for verification AFTER Unofficial Results have been posted.
  • Participants will be expected to check each others' replays for cleanliness, for replays marked in the Results thread as (Check Needed)
  • Video/Youtube/Twitch replays are not accepted as a form of verification

Nice one Kevin. I remember we used to have a sort or separate-from-WRS tarmac rally competition for the time trial die-hards in the GT4/GT5P/GT5 days where Eric and Ron played a role. Epic times!
Enjoy this new week everone, especially the new WRS participants 👍

My 1st clean lap in quick session (5th overall) :D

28.002
19.281
29.939

BB +3
TC 0
TD 30:70

Oh god, those brake points so messed me due to sports soft tires. ^^
Couldn't catch one of them, that'll be goal #1 i suppose. :D but this combo is fun (obviously ^^) 👍 thumbs up and cheers guys.

edit: torque distribution not power :embarrassed:

How can I join this time trial. This should be a event that you can select through going either sport or lobby mode so it can be recorded and easier to access. Please update this feature when update 1.09 or the Future DLC update comes out. My psn is mariscal777.

You just need to go to Arcade Mode, Time Trial in the main game screen. Then run your lap, and save your best lap replay.

Ok thank you for making it easier and please have my idea a feature to make it more easier for others that dont go on GTPlanet.

And for better proof I will upload my trials to YouTube and see if I can add a link here to show my best times. This is just a heads up.

Posting the full time in public is strictly forbidden. It should be kept a secret until the deadline. Therefore I have deleted your post.

Now please familiarize yourself with the workings of the WRS by reading the first post of this thread carefully AND have a read of our Frequently Asked Questions.
Im very sorry I don’t understand how... I just realized what the T means it means sectors. I shall post my sector times. It that correct. And I realized everyone is putting only three of four sector times. Is that correct.

No problem, we're here to help. Yes, the first three sector times are posted in here like JamCar0ne did here:

Four wheel power slides are fun!!

27.159
19.063
28.511

Have a look at your replay in the game and collect the sector times with the Live Timing function.

SO I put all four times or only the three quickest times.

Not the race I was expecting. Super excited for this one. This is the last of the 'rookie system' division qualifiers, yes?
