Goto the test course at the start turn around and do the course backwards so you can get more speed. Ride the wall of the 1st bend towards the end you should be goiung 250mph once you see the turn starting to end hit the NOS and hold on tight.

Well, Rism, I think the fact that you stole all my settings except for 4 would probably explain it. Your settings are cheating. You turn around and go backwards, so the speed is never recorded. You also make the front end float into the air, so it's a "wheelie 374 mph". At least with my settings the car stays on the ground and is still driveable. If you're gonna cheat, at least make the car go 400+.

I count 30 fields with maybe a range of 10 values, that is a maximum of 300 combinations, unless we want to start claiming individual gear ratios. Please, tell me what or where YOUR settings are so I can distance myself from them so as not to interfere with your enjoyment of the full benefit of your intellectual property.

I dont even know who you are. I came up with these settings on my own. When comparing them to the old escudo settings. No this is not a hybrid car.

Im not trying to be a a$$, Im trying to have fun with top speeds, but all I get is (That aint ****, try racing, 380mph big deal, and so on and so on.) So I retaliate out of defensiveness, and its obvious where the hate is coming from.....jealousy, but thats all good, its evedent and obvious why, I havnt been on GTPlanet earning respect, I just swoop in and Blow away the fastest recorded top speed, and swoop out. I like tuning, I will tune cars for anybody @ request, & you know where the settings go.

There is SOOOOOOOOO much negativity in this board, its terrible, people blasted for misspellings, and a second request or similar topics (Its one thing to respectfully school peole to not do so, but all I see is hatefull BS instead.) Im trying to have fun with top speeds and people feel the need to tell me Top speeds aint **** (Well they put the Top Speed record in the game so I want to hold it, I explore EVERY aspect of the game, not limiting myself like a narow mined person) So if your anoyed by my achevements, Good for you, I dont care, I will continue to post my Top speeds.

Yes, you are right. I am jealous of people who can drive faster than me in a computer game.

I dont mean to debunk anyones work, but what exactly is the purpose of having a 350+mph car? where exactly is it drivable other than the test tracks?

Granted I thought it was neat that I got my GT-One up to the mid 300's without going backwards, but I saw no real purpose in it. Maybe I am different, but again. why? and why complain about someone elses choice to do it?

and one last question, in response to NOSaholic, exactly how hard it is for someone to turn the settings on a car all the way to 0 for max speed? I did it without looking at anyone 'setups.' So your complaint about Rism's setups is absolutely garbage.

I dont know... maybe I am wierd or something... I would rather have a car that corners like its on rails than crank out serious speed and only go in a straight line.

As for everyone who wants to take a shot at someone for specialising in a certain field, stfu until you can also do it. Then when you can also do it, stfu anyway because there will always be someone better then you at something.

I'd like to see some good quarter mile times posted! What's the quickest run anyone has done?? Mine so far is only in the 10's in the Buick But as i get more money that will change.

Just a minor observation. If there are 30 fields and average 10 settings on each field, then the number of possible combinations is actually 30 to a power of 10, not 300.

You got that right! Top speeds are fun and all, but the game, at the end of it all is about racing. Control. Speed, yes, but flat out speed is just dragging. Myself, I drive the game to see how far I can push the limits of a car and still have it DRIVEABLE . Theres' no use in a 350+mph vehicle if you just smear yourself all over the wall in the first turn, and all other turns thereafter. True driving skill is why I bought the game. To me, just running top speed is silly, kinda like Nascar. Any jerk can drive around in a circle in the same car as everyone else. It takes a true driver to tackle a course like Nurburing.

Still, if these guys wanna go teats out for speed, I don't see that they should be slammed for it. It's their game, after all. Whatever floats yer kayak.

I tuned the suspension to my liking, and the settings are pretty damn similar to the maker of this thread.

It's not stealing settings, everyone has the same thing in mind: Speed.

And for that reason, settings are going to start looking similar. Which would be the same as saying. YOU USED THE GT-ONE JUST LIKE I DID, YOU ARE TRYING TO STEAL WHICH CAR I USE FOR HIGH SPEED TESTS.. Come on, give me a break, and him while you're at it.

By the way, I hit 330+ MPH Without a wheelie, noteven the front lifting up on the Audi R8.

For all of you who have nothing better to say omg back to kindy for y'all sound like a bunch of lil kids arguing ova playdough this is a forum i havent been on for a while(Initial-D R-34), and for people to come back to a forum that was once so informative and positive has now changed to an argumentative and negative forum maybe there should be something done about negative pointless posts, not trying to make any enemys here just wanted to get my point across look forward to reading more posts from you all
