The development of this new range is currently undergoing at the Onroak Automotive factories.

An all new Ligier car will be revealed this September to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the French manufacturer created in 1969 by Guy Ligier.

This new Ligier will be available from November 2018 and will feature the following main characteristics:

  • 3,7l V6 Engine developing 330 bhp
  • 6 speed sequential gearbox with paddle shift
  • Homologated under FIA E II SH regulation
  • Price (excl. options): €89 000 excl. taxes

Thought it would be another microcar like this one, but was pleasantly surprised.

Same here, my first thought was about these little Ligier cars.

There must be a bigger market than one might think for track-only cars that aren’t racing in a series. Quite a few of these have been revealed the past few years.
 
All the effort expended making a dedicated track car when they could have just revived one of their previous efforts...
