It’s crazy I remember when the PS4 came out it still feels not so long a go. But it was 2013 it’s pushing 7 years now. The Pro is 4 years this year. But 2017 Bday I Got the Pro so that’s why it still feels like yesterday to me still. I’m still very happy with the Pro but it’s slowly showing it’s age. With certain games you can see it looks amazing but with some it’s not as good. It’s definitely gonna be exciting time’s ahead and I’m looking for to seeing the unboxing videos again lol. The next GT will once again look incredible. The PS5 will be another great console by Sony.

I’m excited to learn if any of the rumours for backwards compatibility are true. If not it’ll be pretty sad seeing Microsoft blow Sony out of the water two years in a row for that, first with just having it in the first place and now with compatibility with each generation.

VR, this is what I'm most interested in. Hopefully it will be cable free and an option on all racing games.

Could not have sayd it better my self. These are also very important for me.
Just thinking about having a full Gran turismo in VR makes me start laughing from exitement :-)
Also hope they go for a normal design, and not a tower like as the new Xbox ( Wont fit into my TV rack)

Yes. I particularly love the way they have changed the 4 into a 5, which really gives a clear indication of progress and ‘advancement’ of the series. I think the idea of using a different number or even a letter, like 6 or X etc., would just have over-complicated things, and hence the ‘5’ was a wise choice. The ‘PS’ section invokes memories of previous logos and says to me ‘stability’, ‘reliability’, ‘continuity’ - a reassuring nod to the past, coupled with the ‘future’ (5). It is, frankly, a work of genius.

Now I didn't go into the whole "numbers" and whatnot. but you can only do so much with 120 or so.

Do you really expect them to navigate the entire website in order to find out that someone posted something vague on some relatively obscure part of the site? Unless you literally went directly to them with this source of information, I don't see what's so confusing here.No I posted as it happened.

The sad part is, Sony probably paid a team a whole bunch of money to come up with that logo. Even more, if they hired "consultants" to be useless like most consultants are.
Perhaps you should make a thread instead of just posting a status update? I know I rarely read status updates and I'm guessing that goes for many members of the site.
