I wish they'd stop with the psn bull.
Cross platform and backwards compatibility is high on my wish list too. Together with a new version of PSVR. I do most of my racing on PC in VR. Can't beat that.I’m excited to learn if any of the rumours for backwards compatibility are true. If not it’ll be pretty sad seeing Microsoft blow Sony out of the water two years in a row for that, first with just having it in the first place and now with compatibility with each generation.

Yes. I particularly love the way they have changed the 4 into a 5, which really gives a clear indication of progress and ‘advancement’ of the series. I think the idea of using a different number or even a letter, like 6 or X etc., would just have over-complicated things, and hence the ‘5’ was a wise choice. The ‘PS’ section invokes memories of previous logos and says to me ‘stability’, ‘reliability’, ‘continuity’ - a reassuring nod to the past, coupled with the ‘future’ (5). It is, frankly, a work of genius.Man, that logo must have had a lot of thought and effort put in to it!
Hoping we won't have to wait for too long for both of them to come out.If we get gran turismo 7 with the ps5 It would be heaven

You posted a rumour. That isn't breaking anything.
Didn't I break news on it first?
That there was some GT game and the reveal?
Where my notification?

It is indeed. And well worth all the money I expect the design team were paid to create it.It is, frankly, a work of genius.
I know this is (probably) sarcasm, but I don't think there's anything wrong with keeping the logo relatively the same with the only change being the number.Man, that logo must have had a lot of thought and effort put in to it!
Do you really expect them to navigate the entire website in order to find out that someone posted something vague on some relatively obscure part of the site? Unless you literally went directly to them with this source of information, I don't see what's so confusing here.No I posted as it happened.
And it was posted as "news" 5 hours later with kinda the same things I said as it happened.
Now I didn't go into the whole "numbers" and whatnot. but you can only do so much with 120 or so.

I am planning on quitting my job this summer and becoming either a logo designer or a consultant who specialises in sequel logo design. The sad part is, Sony probably paid a team a whole bunch of money to come up with that logo. Even more, if they hired "consultants" to be useless like most consultants are.
