nice pic of the 350z, and great explaination. BTW, about blurring the wheels, good luck with that, unless photoshop learns to read depth on a 2 dimensional image, it might take a lot of work.

I've just gone through your gallery, excellent work I can't believe I've missed it for so long

I like them all, but my favorite is the last one. 👍 I can't believe I haven't even been in your gallery before. :banghead:

Check out my latest update when you can. :)

Great pics and great tutor-something. Exept now it's not just a thing you could do. I would have kept it to myself I think.(But thats just me, I'm kinda selfish)

Nice man, really nice pics. I like the skylines you got and i really like the 4th and last ones. Last because it's great, and 4th because it's colorful.

Nice tutorial, id been playing around with the same method but i didnt get as good results, i think its because i was just drawing a marquee rounfd the car so it didnt get blurred, making it a seperate layer would have worked better, ill try that.

How do u get your pics so clean to begin with? Mine never look as vibrant as yours.

Thanks for all of the comments guys! I need to do more updates than I do, but I just never seem to get around to do it.
And Rovens, here is what I do to get my pictures clean:

1. When taking the shot in GT4, I almost always increase the exposrue to +4 - +6, as well as adjusting the white balance to the red side just a little.

2. Then in photoshop, I go to image, adjustments, levels. Try to move the handles at the bottom of the histogram around to follow the histogram. The left handle should be moved to where the level increases or is at it's peak on the left. The right handle should be moved to where the curve begins at it's minimum at the right. And the middle handle can be moved around to where you like it the best. And you can also move the other 2 around to your liking, but I am just trying to give you a general idea on what to do.

3. After that, I duplicate the layer I just adjusted, and gausian blur it to about 7. I then change the blending mode in the layers pallette to soft light, and adjust the opacity until I like the way it looks. Then I go back to the base layer and apply an unsharp mask filter to it, to sharpen it up a bit. That's just about it.:)

Thanxs for the hints and tips 440, I be sure to try and use your hints in your guide. Sometime in any of my updates, maybe even in Dec 05 or Jan 06 mate.

I can't believe I missed your gallery!!

I just browsed though it all and you got some of the best pics I've seen :)

Keep up the great work, looking forward to your next update

Hmmm, thats exactly what i do, ill keep playing around with it.

I found something interesting thats a variation to the gaussian blur layer, desaturate it after the bur then change the blending mode to overlay, i found some interesting effects.

Awesome pics of the nike by the way.

nice dude, i am really lovin the whole first row, and the photo travel pics look great too, awesome pictures man, never thought an ugly car could look so good, wait a minute, you always do that to ugly cars, make them look like works of art. 👍

My specialty!:) I was thinking, "I took an unrealistic, fake, nonexistant car, and made it look real!"👍

Just when I thought the Nike had been done to death, you provide you're own unique set of the car to raise the bar yet again, 440. I should've expected it ;)

👍

These Nike shots are so good
they looks fake while being realistic in the same time
👍

Hey! I like those nike pictures a lot! Didn't know that car could look so sweet... Also the 350Z is great! 👍

Have a look at my gallery if you want (and please leave a comment!) :)

tabs
Those Nike One pictures are fantastic. Really, really great work, man. Really! 👍 👍

Thankyou Tabs! And Thankyou to everyone else whom has commented on my Nike One pictures. They really turned out nice. But I am still in search of that one shot that is just incredibe and is above all the rest. I have seen some many pictures, and have taken so many pictures, I just need to find that certain spot at just the right time with the perfect lighting...... It's back to the old PS2!
