Hi everybody!I know this may not be TOO good of a challenge for you guys, but maybe there's some of you out there that don't actually like racing with the "fast" cars..and instead ya like racing with some that have about up to 450 HP?I know I do,so that's why I've brought you here...so listen up guys!alright, the challenge is...well..it's somewhat not even a challenge, just for fun..so check out the times on the courses with what cars I used and tell me what you think of the times (and yes I drifted to make these times,so MAYBE if I grip raced,I might be able to beat them..but really not worried about it =P)

1. Special Stage Route 11 - 1:54.490 (Mazda RX-7 Type RS with 445 HP)
2. Midfield Raceway - 1:13.278 (Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX (Shigeno Version) with 387 HP)
3. Tokyo Route 246 - 1:40.667 (Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX (Shigeno Version) with 387 HP)
4. Seattle Circuit - 1:30.990 (Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX (Shigeno Version) with 380 HP)
5. Special Stage Route 5 (Non-Wet) - 1:23.886 (Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX (Shigeno Version) with 380 HP)

okay, and that's all...but I want your opinons on these times that I've made for first place on these courses..they can be good or bad opinons...but the car that you use to compete against my records have to be from 100 HP - 450 HP,no higher..and one more condition, you can only race with Medium Tyres on the front and rear of your car,no SUPER SOFTS!so anyways, now that you know the conditions, then please feel free to take on this challenge!!

AE86Driver

P.S. sorry for making a mistake, but I watched the replay for my Midfield Raceway record and I did GRIP drive through that one..so I make a correction to the statement I made above "and yes I drifted to make these times" I did GRIP drive to make the Midfield Raceway record..so I just thought I'd clarify that..anyways,give me some output on my times please!! ^_^

well,if possible, then detune your car (if you've bought the parts to do so..of course =D) cause I've got a Skyline (R32 V-SPEC II) with I believe 859 HP and I detuned it to 448 HP at one point in time, only cause it has awsome acceleration ^_^!!oh,and here's something else that you guys can give me some output on =D

0 to 60 MPH with my R32 - 2.533

I think the acceleration of my Skyline is pretty awsome, but anyways, that's just to pass along,so have fun with the challenge if you do have a car with 450 HP or less =D

AE86Driver

what ever gave ya that idea?hehehe,of course I do =D!and don't worry,if you have a car that has 315 HP,then go for it!I beat my RX-7's record at Seattle with my Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX (Shigeno Version) and it has 387 HP!well, now it has 380 HP cause of all the miles I've put on it,but still..don't give up!and remember,my RX-7 had 445 HP at the time,it should have been able to hold first place at Seattle, but then again,I lost HP out of my Trueno cause I had to go AT LEAST 60 laps on Free Run before I could actually beat the record ^_^!!and those laps were continuous!so I really wouldn't worry about if you've got a car with 315 HP,cause my Trueno is a Viper eater,a Porshe (sorry ^_^,don't know how to spell it) eater,NSX eater,Mustang eater, and all around my favorite...Escudo eater =D!!so never give up even if your car has less HP than your opponent..and like I WAS gonna put as my signature "Don't make fun of lower horsepower...you might actually need it one day" don't worry,if you don't understand what I mean by that,it's nothin' to worry about, cause most people don't understand it..only I do -_-

Well, this is an interesting challenge.
For kicks and giggles I ran in the AE86 with 387 HP at Midfield.
My best was a 1:12.739. I see a couple of places to take off some time but I don't know if I can do it. Boombexus or Lotus350 could prolly shave 2 more seconds off that time.
That's a little faster than a 433 HP RX-7 I ran a while back (1:12.872). I'm a better driver now and hope I could be faster.
BTW thanks for turning me back on to the Apex-Shigeno. Pretty fast for a s***box
I''ll work up a couple of cars and run them at the other places and see what I can do.

*laughs sarcastically* heh,not too bad for a **** box eh?well,if that's the way you think about it,that's fine, but anyways...yeah,I'm pretty good with the Shigeno Version Trueno and YES it is fast!so,I guess I'll go see if I can beat your record that you made with your **** box =P,hehe, well,I'll be back on here later to find out some other peoples times!so till then, continue the challenge!!

I have run Midfield in four more cars:
The RX-8: 1:11.612 Very Smooth ride. Right at 450 HP
The RX-7: 1:12.399 Quick, but a bit twitchy.
Concept Z: 1:12.704. Felt slower, sign of good stability.
MS Elise: 1:11.337 This thing is one heck of a lil' rocket. It's fast, stable, turns in very quickly, and had only 342 HP.
More tracks and times to come.
*Wasn't dissin' the Hachi-Roku.*
Just suprised I don't drive it more often. Not bad for under 400HP.
I drove a variation IRL and was impressed with it. :D

wow, that's some pretty awsome times dude =D!looks like I'll have to go on GT3 tonight and see what I can make with most like any of these cars

AE86 (Shigeno Version)
FC
FD
LanEvo maybe?
R32

and whatever else comes up ^_^,maybe I'll bring out Team Mugen and see what they can do,hehe

Well I tried with my newly acuired Nismo 400R @395hp and got a dismal 1'23.579. Then I tried my RUF RGT @443hp and got a 1'13.911 only after two laps and with stock gear ratios so I can improve on that.

Well I bought a Full gearbox and dropped the auto by two points and I soon got a 1'12.883 @ Midfield which Im happy with. Now the other tracks!! :)

damnit!I can't beat Nascarnut's record!ahhh, this sucks cause I was so close to beating it,but my middle finger (that I keep underneath the controller, right under where it has that dip at) is gettin' sore from tryin' so freakin' much,so I'll probably try wait and try it again tomorrow, but for now, here's my best time that I've got so far...

1:12.079 with Mazda RX-7 Type RS with 445 HP

I'm so c-l-o-s-e!!! *sighs* guess I'll try tomorrow =P,hehe

AE86Driver

Hey AE86Driver, why don't you try the Tuscan. If you don't already have it, and you don't want to spend your hard earned money on it, just start your game like normal, buy the car and whatnot, then when your tired of it, just restart the game! But don't save unless you want the replay and the car.

I hope this makes sense!!
:odd:

I gotta record at Tokyo Route 246,so I'll probably start up GT3 in a couple of minutes and post that on here as well..it's just that the ones posted..those are the courses I spent the most time on ^_^,maybe that's why I lost HP out of my Shigeno Version Trueno trying to beat my Seattle record..but good time Millenium,I never made that fast of a time even with my Trueno 0_o..now I kinda feel bad..but oh well..I need a quick opinon here you guys.Do my times just suck and you just sit down and say "no problem",then beat them,or are they even any good?just curious..not tryin' to start anythin',I was just wonderin'

AE86Driver

P.S. I had fun yesterday drifting in my new black BMW328 Ci,hehehe =D

well, i went back with a purpose built car and tore it up, pulled a 1'10:590 with a tuscan speed six with 445 horsepower and a top speed of 158 mph

same ole rumble trick used on the wide turn... shoulda used it on the 1st turn too

::edit::

oops.... my records were with SS tires, just went back through midfeild with regulation equipment and pulled a 1'10:590 with my tuscan with a diff gear ratio that pulls 164 mph

sorry for the misunderstanding

FINALLY!I'm in the game guys!I made a 1:10.395 with my RX-7 Type RS that has 445 HP,and the speed I hit when I crossed the finish line was 152 MPH,and yes,I did grip drive to beat that record..I had to,it was just so hard to make a good record with drifting =P,my best time with drifting was 1:12.254 with my Trueno, but I kept trying and trying and trying with my RX-7 and I FINALLY did it!yeah!!so what's the next times?! :D

AE86Driver

I had mine turned up a lil bit higher than usual (Traction = Level 4,Stability Management = Level 3) I was racing Drift style for a while there, but whenever Millenium said that he let his tyre hang into the dirt as he cut the corner to make a faster time, that gave me the idea of trying to make my best record with grip driving, and so,I did =D!

AE86Driver

oh yeah..this is just to let you guys know, cause I'm so happy I FINALLY got done with all of them..I'm done with ALL of my endurance races!!I just got done with the Miata Endurance Race, and it was longer than I expected ^_^,who would've thought that 40 laps on Apricot Hill would take THAT long!well, here's the results -------

1st place - me! 1:12.20.941
2nd place - 1:12.55.684
3rd place - 1:13.26.116
4th place - 1:13.47.963
5th place - 1:13.50.738
6th place - 1:14.02.859

car that I entered with...Silver Mazda MX-5 Miata LS

Prize Car won...Mazda MX-5 (J) Miata in the color J Unlimited/Sunburst Yellow

so I'm happy I'm done with all those races finally..just thought I'd share the news!

AE86Driver

well, im out, the tuscan finally got broken in and is now at 451 horsepower :( also i cant seem to drive well today (pulling 1:11's with it on midfield)

It also is not cutting, as i was in the track at all times, its more like... man its hard to explain

it allows you to drift the entire wide turn without slowing down

oh yeah.... I "drifted" those times

Do you own a sharkport, i want to show you exactly what i did

no *frowns* I wish I did though!cause I wanna show you guys my awsome replays!!ah,oh well...hopefully I'll be gettin' one soon..and sorry for your Tuscan FINALLY breaking in..that sucks..thanks for competing though, and hopefully you'll be able to join again soon!
