Who ever said it was an excuse? Yes, I drift slow and on Sims, but I never race anybody while drifting, I do it for pure fun, no to be the fastest. If I wanted to go fast, I would use one of the many cars I have set up for speed and not so much drifting.

Stop being so ignorant, just except the fact that not everybody drifts the same exact way as you, and stop beinging up your precious Trial Mountian time for no reason, it's ****ing anoying.

Maybe if you didn't come off as such a prick when you talk, people wouldn't keep flaming you in these forums. Calm down, speak clear, and do be such arrogant asshole. I'll bet you'll have a much more enjoyable time here, and so will every other person who reads your posts.

This post is not ment as an attack on you, just trying to help out and maybe get you to see why people are always raggin on you. So don't take this in a bad way.

LOL, Okay guys lets just stay on the 4WD topic and pretend he isn't there. There really is no point in repeating what everyone has already said. It's just a waste of time.

This thread has been edited for language. Please sort it out. PMs have been dispatched to significant offenders. Don't make me close the thread.

I never got any proof that your time even exists...

Since you did do it in 4 laps it is a little hard to believe. If it is legit well that's just incredible. I just feel really, really slow. Still you've got more proof than Akina so I'll hand you that.

im not saying ur a cheat. tell u what ill make a thread for the trueno time on trial mountain and ill try and post some pic aight. aight VRMX

ok, i havent been on Gtplanet for a couple weeks and when i come back i see that you all just practically defaced my thread :banghead: i say if you are going to argue, dont mess up the subject of the thread it self, "4WD Drifting" is now just a argument thread, please, figure out how to use PMs for godsakes...

No offense, but what car does THAT sound like?

Answer:

Nissan Skyline GT-R

Keep in mind, that the ATTESA-ETS drivetrain combines the advantages of 4WD and RWD. It takes the more powerful acceleration rate and delivers more HP to the rear wheels. In reality, when acclerating, the Skyline sends 90% of the HP to the rear wheels, so this guy has his settings like that of a stock Skyline.

And who's gonna argue about a Skyline GT-R being AWD?

Hey, if it worked for over 10 years ago, I'm not gonna argue.

Anyways, this subject drifted (HA! I MADE A JOKE) off topic, and I was HOPING to learn a LITTLE bit more on how to perfect my R-34 V-SpecII, which glides through the turns rather gracefully, yet beats the pants off of the LeMans cars on the Test Track.

Without a doubt, 4WD cars are the most difficult to drift, but then again, buying the VCD can change that....

Not at all, 4WD cars are the most stable in a drift and are IMO the easiest by far to drift, even without a fully adjustable VCD. The hard part of 4WD drifting is judging your entry speed and drift angle, after that they is little you can to adjust the angle short of hitting the hand brake.

I do like the feeling of the stock GTR VCD it does feel more like an FR car. However, I find that even with 10% in the front and 90 % power to the rear, 4WD cars still require vastly different driving techniques to drift compared to FR cars.

O/T but Akina sounds alot like Night Drifter. Maybe I missed a post about them being brothers or living really close or something but they sound alike and they are both from California. Get a mod to check IP's. If Im wrong I appologize :).

Back on topic: I really love drifting in 4WD's.. Very stable and alot of fun. Plus its easy to end the drift smoothly and elegantly. With FR's its easier to lose the tail end and spin since all the power is in the back. Since 4WD's have the power to all the wheels (even if its uneven) it makes it a little more stable...
