5:02:358 Nurburgring lap with Ferrari F2007

Took GTPSP F2007 for a few fun laps around Nurburgring Nordschleife...drool:...

5:02.358 lap is my best for today G25; manual transmission; ABS = 1; all other assists off.




Previous best 5:05.463

I think PD has done quite a job here. This is what wikipedia has to say about an F1 car on the Nordschleife. This after Nick Heidfelds 'attempt':

According to formula one F1 Racing magazine of June 2006, BMW engineers had estimated that a BMW-Sauber F1.06 could lap in under 5:15.8[97] which equals to an average of 237*km/h (147 mph).

So it's the real driving simulator after all....

There is no F2008 in GT5. But in GTPSP, I did a 5:12 with the F2007. And it wasn't a very good lap either, with 1 off. Shows that a sub 5 minute is very much possible.

Yeah, typo mistake..I meant the Premium F2007, not F2008.

Sub 5 minute Ring lap is very possible...I had 1 off in this lap & missed many apexes, and consequently compromised acceleration out of corners. Reckon if I nailed the optimal racing line with a clean lap & no mistake, sub 5 min is crackable....but think I'll save that experience for when I get a Premium F10, only $7million left to get
