I don’t want to revisit that time if I don’t have to. But you got it in a nutshell.
Thanks for sharing, I understand that was a truly horrific event. At least it is some kind of comfort knowing that it was an accident you couldn’t avoid, and that it wasn’t your fault.

1. I went inside the Aston Martin Racing team garage at the Australian GP in 2023.

In truth, it’s not something I dwell on because I was just reacting to a bad situation.

I do think about it from time to time, but it’s in the past now. What’s done is done.

We also had a dog by that same name, who was an Australian shepherd, and he presumably died that same year. Except, he just ran away, and we never saw him ever again after that. Seeing how he had arthritis and possibly other things going on with him, it seems like he went off to die somewhere.

#1-4 are still very average facts... We need better more interesting random facts...
#5 too specific and too sad... Are you ok there ? It's been over 15 years now....

The 1986 film version (G1)
Ultra Magnus was made to be the hero of the film and still got out matrix'd by Rodimus Prime (of all people)... I'm a fan of Robert Stack's Ultra Magnus thanks to Airplane! but Ultra-Magnus was such a 'mid' character in the film that I, and most others, didn't notice that he was killed - ripped apart - more brutally than other Autobots in the film - yet STILL came back (I assume more Diaclone toys to sell).. like, let's punk Optimus out, in favour of Magnus, then within the hour, flip him out, in favour of Rodimus, who no one likes - because of terrible character design - and also because he got Optimus killed!

The 1986 film version (G1)
Haven't watched that one yet. The only Transformers shows and movies I am familiar with Prime and the Michael Bay movies, the former of which had him.
Ultra-Magnus was such a 'mid' character in the film
Can't speak for that movie, but I kind of felt the same about him in Prime as well. His whole "by the book" nature and his demands to be called "sir" all the time just made me not really care for him as a character. I don't outright hate him, but I didn't really like him either. I wanted to like him and I think he could've been cool, but he just seemed like a lesser Optimus with a worse attitude.

I still don't understand how most people are fine with DVDs when we've had 4K TVs for years. Watching Standard Definition content on FTA is painful enough to watch, paying for it boggles the mind (especially when Blu-rays are very close in price).

I stick to 4K's and regular Blu-rays whenever possible - I only consider DVDs for things that never made it to HD.

All of my tools sit in a little tray all mingled together.

I have Bluntman & Chronic (Jay and Silent Bob) action figures still in the original packaging. Must be worth a fortune.

I’ve been on the road for over 20 years and have often gone above 62mph. I ride a motorcycle. It’s hard not to.

I love blues, but hate jazz.

I am 39 years old and have not been sober since I was 17*.

*For a reasonable amount of time.

Don’t let anxiety or depression win.

Me neither. I've researched it before and apparently cost, which I can kind of understand, and the fact people don't seem to care about picture quality for some reason are part of why they still do. I think I am the only one in my family who actually prefers Blu Ray's over DVDs, the rest of my family still buys DVDs and doesn't seem to care about getting into Blu Ray at all. It doesn't help we had a neighbor who tried Blu-Ray years ago and didn't speak highly of it to us, but given how she was elderly, she probably didn't have the best eyesight and I have a strong feeling she might not have had a great setup either, so I question her judgment.

Maybe I am being a bit anal, but I lowkey wish they had stopped making DVDs a long time ago.

Same. I can tolerate DVDs, but if Blu-Ray is an option, I will go that route whenever possible. I have yet to get a 4K Blu Ray though simply because I don't have a 4K TV, but I hope to get one someday.
