5 Things I want to see in FORZA 5

1. The ability to customize the interiour of your car, for example. Changing the steering wheel to a momo racing wheel and when you strip out your car to save weight I want to see it visually in the car.

2. Maybe some licenced championships like the btcc, and seen as we have the V8 supercars some licensed tracks from that series.

3. The ability to take pictures and import them into the game to use in paint.

4. weather and night races, we had night races n forza 1 so they know how to do it.

5. To me some of the greatest tracks are not in forza like spa, imola, brands hatch, the old french gran prix track( cant remember the name)

What would you like too see changed or included in forza 5

I agree with all apart from #3.

What makes these custom livery's and designs so great is the fact that people have the talent to make them from simple shapes and gradients. Having the ability to just import a picture would take away any skill needed imo

your right but for people like me who don't have that kind of skill I think it would be a usefull tool. But I do gat what you mean, some of the designs are stunning

1. This feature wouldn't matter to me as I don't drive in the 'in-car' view. But would be a nice feature for those that do.

2. Definate yes. I love the BTCC series and with the V8 Supercars, tracks should be in.

3. I don't like this idea. I'm not an artist by any means, but I like the creativity.

4. Weather and night races are on top of my list. It's part of racing, lets see it.

5. Some of the tracks now bore me. I would love to see some much better tracks. But everything is a license issue.

I would like to see some Rallye courses added.

1. Day night transitions.

2. Better implementation of drag racing. (a real time slip most of all)

3. More epic tracks like Spa and Bathurst

4. Rally

5. Better suspension physics.

Bonus: being able to paint wheels in sections.

3. The ability to take pictures and import them into the game to use in paint.

Never going to happen. It's hard enough to police the designs currently made. This would leave the system wide open to abuse. If you give untalented people the ability to upload vulgar images with ease there will be more of that than anything else, thankfully very few of the talented painters are interested in making such designs.

1. Much more tracks that should be in this game.
2. Helmet cam with proper hand placement on the steering wheel(I believe this is the new view to use in racing games.)
3. Endurance racing and driving grit(Includes weather and day/night, proper pits, crazy damage like grid or shift 2 visually, dirt on the windscreen and dirty cars. etc)
4. More racing licenses such as rally, F1, Nascar, etc)
5. Interior customization and improved exterior customization.
Extra: would love a works conversion for cars too.

For the paint shop I would like to see a matte paint option for car colors as well as matte, gloss, metallic, and chrome color options for vinyl's.
More options for spoilers and front splitters with adjustable downforce.
Night and weather racing.
Customization option for the inferior.

Maybe instead of the ability to import photos how about an app either ingame or on the forzamotorsport website that will allow you to draw new vinyl designs or shapes then import those to the livery editor.

TRACKS. More interesting ones. Narrower ones. Longer ones. Many more of them. This has always been the Forza series' weak point. I would love to see more road courses like Fujimi Kaido, not just mountain passes but any kind of street/road course.

CARS built before the year 2000. Self-explanatory.

RANDOMIZED SERVERS for those self-hosting lobbies we have now. The repetitive pairs of cars/tracks in Cycled Production got old really really fast, which was a big disappointment for me. Maybe cut certain vehicles out of the pool (eg. Hummer H1).

A CAREER MODE that tries harder. FM4 was better than FM3, but it still needs improvement. Flying ethereally around a world map in a slideshow of satellite photos is not exactly what I would call "immersion"...or "effort."

I also want Turn 10 to LOOSEN UP. The plethora of options for online lobbies is great, but where in the world is any of that customizability in the rest of the game? We can't even 🤬 pick the number of laps to run in Quick Race or Split Screen matches. Everything is automated as much as possible and dumbed-down, and that goes for technical details as well. Checking the specs on your car shouldn't have to be a perpetual game of hide-and-seek, and it's really stupid to neglect listing a car's engine layout in a game that offers engine swaps.

...the physics could use some tweaks but I'd rather T10 not screw it up while trying to improve them.

This sum up what I want basicaly. For tracks, Isle of the Mans TT track would be awesome, or something like that. Pikes Pike would be nice too, loved it in GT. Also some old track layout would be nice, Old Hockenheim, old Spa, old Barcelona and old Monza with the part on the oval would be awesome. WTCC cars would be cool since no one have them on console afaik.

My top 5 are as follows:

1. Add weather effects for all tracks, not just certain ones.
2. Add dynamic time for all tracks as well.
3. Add livery editor to the windows of all cars.
4. Add various race types not currently in the game, like offroad track conditions such as dirt, snow, etc.
5. Add open wheel/open cockpit vehicles such as the Caterham 7, Caparo T1, Formula series cars, etc...

A lot are what GT5 has (albeit not the best and not throughout the game) but competition is best for the consumer so make it happen T10

Things I'd like to see

1. driver/swap co-op abilities and even more online lobby options
2. Add weather effects for all tracks..
3. Add dynamic time for all tracks.
4. Open wheelers
5. A lot of other stuff. But I've run out of wishes

1. Time transition on all tracks. And being able to set time.

2. An actual championship event with point standings and maybe even races based on time instead of amount of laps.

3. Wheels, what is the mystery with white wheels? Being able to just paint center would be great as well.

4. Rally would be sweet, guess T10 isn't into this.

5. Obviously, more tracks. I wouldn't even care if they weren't the most famous ones, I would actually prefer to try the more unknown tracks. Especially with this world tour mode, lets get some tracks from other countries that aren't in game yet like Portimão in Portugal (yes I'm Portuguese lol)

One more, because I suck at tuning, I wish they could implement a Tuning option that can take a car (with whatever upgrades it has) and optimize if for a specific track, kind of like having your own crew setting up your car and allowing you to just focus on driving. Obviously it doesn't have to be perfect, thats where people who have the know how to shine, but just to get it in the ball park would be great!

1. Punish poor drivers
2. Punish poor drivers
3. Punish poor drivers
4. punish poor drivers
5. Punish poor drivers

If T10 get any one of these 5 points implemented in their game I'll be happy :)

1. Day/Night on ALL tracks (I can live without weather if the grip in the rain is anything like GT5)

2. The ability to change the profile of the tyres without having to upgrade rim size

3. Chrome/Matte paint

4. Better Forza body upgrades

5. Ability to paint over carbon fibre

Longer races
Pit stops
More real tracks (not crap like alps)
Rivals mode

Also more of the race cars/touring cars, like a whole modern field of them. I pretty much just want the sort of race series from V8 supercar/TOCA race driver. The racing and track selection in those games was awesome

How else would you implement this? They already have sticky grass and invalid laps. I don't think they are ever going to put in a flag system (which I think would be cool). I know the name says "motorsports" but it's more of a game about cars and not as much about racing.

I think T10 went a little OCD when it comes to invalid laps honestly.

Let's see...
  1. Dynamic day/night transitions on all tracks.
  2. Dynamic weather on all tracks, and not just sunny or rainy weather. Stuff like thunder storms or hail, too.
  3. More functional bodykit/splitter/wing options with adjustable downforce. The FM aerso shouldn't be the only adjustable parts. Also, I'm still waiting for wide body kits and/or fender flares.
  4. A "Create a Race" or, even better, "Create a Championship" feature. Outside of multiplayer
  5. Parameters like power, torque, weight, tyre compound and tyre width as well as downforce directly affecting the PI value of a car, if one of these stats is significantly above average for the class the car would end up in. So, no matter how low the top speed of your car is, and no matter how bad the car performs at the PI test track, increasing its power too much will still put it into a higher class. That way, the PI system wouldn't allow certain cars to reach extreme values anywhere, making the whole thing much more balanced.

That's it, I guess.

1) Actually intelligent A.I., hate that both GT and Forza tout their A.I. yet they can't manage to make it so the A.I. realizes you are passing them on the inside.:irked:
2) Day/night transition as well as enduros long enough to use said feature.
3) Dynamic weather, mainly temperature changes as it gets colder as it gets dark.
4) Removable wheel and arms, this is the only reason I don't use cockpit view.
5) Ability to save a color, would be nice if we could build our own color catalog.

1.) Forza Street Aero - they have race ones for pretty much all cars, so some street aero designed by T10 can't be too much of a stretch, plus it means every car would have a modest visual upgrade and not some ghastly splitter/ironing board combo.

2.) Open World Tracks - The game is all about community, what better than to let 16 cars just cruise around a city or countryside map with several paths.

3.) I agree with interior upgrades. Even adding branded racing seats would be an improvement on what we have now, but ideally blanking plates and extra dials/buttons for race-prepped cars.

4.) Works Conversions - Another great suggestion, but I'd want something less 'showy' than Shift 2's interpretation. Some of those cars were dangerously 'Underground' in their aesthetic. Appropriate conversions would be ideal too, so a 4-door wouldn't turn into a silhouette racer, but a touring car with slightly wider tracks and optimised induction routes on the bumpers.

5.) Weather - the obvious one, but it would be nice from all angles - photographers/racers/casuals - to have at least rain. I love driving in the rain IRL, and even though I have Falken FK452s on my car, they still perform rather well on wet roads at modest speeds. I wouldn't want the physics to make it artificially harder than it should be and lose a little of the 'playability' wet roads afford the car via its ability to grip even when wet.

I'm referring to online play, not hot lapping.

> Pacific Shipyards
> Tokyo
> Rio de Janeiro
> Dynamic Weather
> Dynamic time

First 3 tracks are my favorites from Forza 1. They gave Forza 1 the "essence" IMHO.

1. Porsche's
2. Day/night transitions & night racing
3. Rally
4. Lime Rock Park, Spa & Monza tracks
5. Adjustable AI for World Tour (or whatever they choose to call the main play through)
