...seriously compromises and ruins the performance of this car. The car ends up being sluggish, does not turn in well and no amount of settings for promoting oversteer can compensate.

I sometimes feel like a play-tester for this broken game.
 
You would have thought there'd be some 'head' in the game telling you the pros and cons of widening the tracks of cars, no?

Mr. Wally Koenig made the 512BB Koenig Special, no problems there; of which the game replicates with the bodykit and widening of the car's track.
 
Anyway, here is another 'brainfart' from Polyphony.
The chronic understeer that l was getting from this was because of the countersteering assistance set to 'strong'. 🤪
Since setting it to 'weak' the car is now oversteering like all the rest in this game.

How can a game setting like this totally compromise and degrade the performance of a car. These settings are supposed to help/ improve (even if they do slow you down a little), the player and car, not hinder. 🙈

So now, l have to keep remembering to change my countersteering assistance to weak for this car.

Please don't tell me to not use countersteering assistance. Polyphony made this setting because they knew they'd implemented a failed physics/ handling aspect to the game.
