Took my CSL out for a few more laps last night to try crack the gold time. Took me a few attempts, first knocking my time down from 2:16:6XX to 2:15:5XX, then 2:15:2XX, then a solid 2:14:7XX. Three laps later I got that down to 2:14:224. I'm pretty happy with that for now.

The CSL is very slippery bugger on SH tyres, and enjoys a bit of lift-off oversteer a bit too much for my liking! I'm yet to tame it's handling, but will keep playing with the suspension settings and run a few more laps to see if I can get that time under 2:14.

I like this car on some tracks. But not on this track, Suzuka is a track for fast race cars. How fun it was if they make a Formula gt tt on this track?
There was an old GT5 seasonal races with FGT at 900PP, winning laps around 1:30, similar to F1, Rosberg pole was 1:30.6 last year. Give it a try!

aero???

Had some laps in a stock 288 GTO, not as scary as I thought it would be for a 2m13 and the best noise around Suzuka, it did help me appreciated the ridiculous amount of grip the NSX LM prototype gives though and managed a tiny improvement in the Honda to 2m07.535. I blow and suck at the same time through the final sector though :banghead:

Took the Lexus LFA Ring Edition out, stock, detuned to 530 PP. Best I could muster was a 2:17:XXX. Anyone able to crack the gold time with this car 100% stock??

i make 2.07.023
i have a margins of improvment but i lose all in the curve after dunlop up to the arrive. I can't doing better...

255 kmh for me too, no problem. I even have a couple of friends ghost lines in front of me, so they must be going even faster!

Have you changed oil, as that makes a big difference?

You must be doing something right though, as I'm only in P189....

Yes, Oil change, All power units. 133kg ballast at 5 % i think.

I drive a 2:06.4 lap today. Only ****ed it up in the last turn.

Edit: after 40 laps i see i have traction control on 5. I try it on 0 later but that sucks......

Yes to do 2.5 you need to play without no assists. Just abs but i discover something great. To play your car need to be full tuned All parts installed and the balance between 47 53 our 48 52 . Aéro between 6 and 10. The car needs to havé 20 in the torque if you havé 19 the car need oil change. But the gréât thing its using the control sensebility at 4 it corners better. A good gear box with power concentrate beetween 2 3 and 4 gear.

This game man... 🤬🤬

Wanted a 2:04 time, but the game REALLY didn't want to play ball!!:grumpy:

Still 2'd best non-japanese, and 3'rd with active steering off. :)

This is a very fun combo, car feels so natural around here on SH tyres, but slightly too much power imho, and its so frustrating there are so many corners, there is always 1 you dont get quite right, loosing few hundredths here and a few hundredths there, you end up 3 tenths behind target and you have no idea why because you did no mistakes:crazy:

I tought i was the only one who have this. This is %^&*. Outcoming of the corners is the problem here. Gears are important also. I think i can make a high 2:05 lap. But the problem is what you say: Every lap i got a sector where i loose almost a half second... Frustrating.
