Scroll up this page and look at my set up... I took photos of it... You can run 1:40's consistly with it, but once you get the feel, you'll get into the 1:39's... Notice my brake set up... 5 on front and 2 on the rear... And, be aggressive... Get on top of the wheel... You can do this... I did... lol

I think you forgot to show the LSD setting and how you setup the Transmission in detail maybe? Thanks for sharing anyhow and great time you achieved so far, long way to go for me.

The transmission set up is there... I forgot the LSD... Sorry... They are set at 40, all of them...

A big thanks to @Billy Stanley for his help with the set up on the NSX. I was able to shave a little over 2 seconds from my previous time and achieve a Silver. I now have the confidence to try for gold. I just haven't gotten my braking points settled yet, but I'm going to keep after it now that I have a car I can work with.

Just keep trying... You can get gold... You are almost there, bro... Just get aggressive in the first 2 turns... Use the throttle in the S's, don't use brakes... And, find the apexes on the rest... Remember, drive deep into the second to last corner... You can do it!!!

I'll try that setup... THANKS!!!

Seems like Immortal has discovered the beauty of Ice skating on CS-tyres!?👍

This is a real challenge with DS3 and no aids (except ABS 1) and with X-button for throttle! But (or: Therefore) I love it! But i am approaching my limit, sitting on 1.37.929, using @xtrax Setup (Thx a lot for sharing ), except LSD Acc.=8.

FYI: Last time around, this TT was won with a 1.36.272. Personally i did a 1.37.382 for 34'th -but i was using AS Strong and TC=1. Even though Carlos is using a gradual throttle (he MUST be!?:nervous:), I bow to him for getting a 1.36 -that's

Improved with the wheel, some changes on the tune, mainly for the gearbox, here they are:
chassis strenghtening, the front feels better I think.
height: 85 65
springs: 4,50 6.61
dampers, brakes, toe etc... are the same.
gearbox: speed 200, final gear: 2.955
1: 4.917 2: 3.606 3: 3.045 4: 2.595 5: 2.157 6: 1.830
LSD: 5/13/5
chassis specs are the same as before.
tips: throttle control is badly needed :P

We have a tune fest here now, great thing 👍
I still have something I want to try: put the 4 dampers to 7 :dunce:

For once we have something to drive and not something to throw into corners like a maniac and hope for the best.

1.38.2xx with the DS3, I'll try the wheel later... maybe.
here is my tune (the regular basic tune in GT6) : (NSX-R LM)
weight reduction 3, no chassis strenghtening, no ballast, no oil change and limiter to 93.4%
height: 83 63
damper: 4.55 6.65
comp: 1 1
ext: 1 1
A.R.B. 7 7
camber none
toe 0.00 0.00
brake B. : 7 6
LSD: 5/10/5
aero max (350 600)
Gearbox is not optimum because in 2nd the car is tricky and in 3rd the engine struggles a bit but here it is:
V max mini
1: 4.917
2: 3.606
3: 2.915
4: 2.480
5: 2.157
6: 1.830
Final gear: 2.620
the car is stable on the brakes, but if the car oversteers a bit too much in corner entry, stay in 3rd when you're downshifting (but you need to put the 2nd for the exit) or put just a little gas to stabilize it.

Solid tune man, changed brakes to 7 - 5 and rear ride height 64. Also I didn't use chassis rigidity, I find it dulls the rotation of the rear end in the tighter corners, even though the front end feels a bit better.

On another note, I tried grinding the oil down to grab P1 but failed miserably.. The car is still at 2.40 kg/HP so didn't get any more performance out of the NSX by doing that, actually I think I lost a couple HP :odd:

Definetly cracked into the top 10 thanks to @hotsaucer.
The chassis strengthening is a demonic thing, period :P

Great Job!

Wanted to thank you for your tune as well - changed LSD, Breaks and Final Gear a bit, still it was the main reason i ended up in the Top 250 for the first time with a 1:39.530 :)

Thanks to all other tune providers as well, you made this TT fun for me.

Didn't get time to have a decent session with @Dart_Field's Setup, but did manage to try it out and feel its potential: definitely the "sharpest" i tried (-but/therefore also the hardest to control which would've called for a proper session). But  to Dart_Field!

I was having a go on the Chassis Strengthening/BRI issue in the corresponding thread for last months TT on Brands Hatch. I was setting my personal records with the bodywear indicator on yellow with a BRI'ed car -and was wondering whether it would have the same effect with a non-BRI'ed car with green indicator for BodyWear; apparantly it did. What i DIDN'T get round to mention in last months thread, was that i ended up making my overall best lap with a non-BRI'ed car with yellow BodyWear Indicator! I might have to look out for that in the future: To some extent, there might be a "Dirty Oil-trick-effect" in accumulating a Wobbly body?:boggled:
