If you look at my Wallbanger's Ring Masters Challenge thread you'll see that this claim is ridiculous.

Target time for FF cars was 6:35 done offline. Praiano was the only one to have a winner so far.
FF Car Ring Masters praiano63 Car=Dodge SRT4 '03 Time=6'34"497
This car was well over 550PP, also I know praiano and several other highly skilled drivers and tuners tried a large number of FFs for this challenge including the RM cars and race cars and couldn't meet the time.

Very nice driving...still find something a bit fishy about the whole thing however.

Like I said earlier we have had several very talented drivers push a number of FF cars around Nürburgring Nordschleife offline which is generally faster than online and they all agreed that they couldn't get close to 6:35 with a maxed out Integra (DC5).

Again very nice driving and props to the driver if that really was done with all aids off and at 550PP. Just took 10 seconds off our best offline time with unlimited PP in a FF car.:bowdown:

I see some great lap times here :)
Any chance to do it with any of the non-premium cars? same criterias?
I've been able to do nice laps with the Accura HSC Concept '04 with the spoiler, but so far no luck with more power and no aero.
I'm also below 6:40 with the Lotus Esprit 350 Sport '00, great speed but so far very unstable during high speed breaking and it's still a bit too tail happy, but it's got potensial imo ;)

I've run 6'34 now with skid recovery, it was not a very good lap, but a good lap shave 2 or 3 seconds max ... 6'24" ?? Can you do this in a lounge online with us? offline. Or you're Ayrton Senna reincarnation or there is something wrong. For a 544pp car with 280kmh to speed i think it's hard to believe, you have to admit.
So ,can you repeat this lap or close to this time ??

I'm testing the lotus 350 sport now.

? At 550PP My LFA only gets 510HP, how are you guys getting 550HP+?

You must use the engine 3 stage and after reduce to 550pp that's why. Like this your power is spread all over the RPM range. The PP system reduce the max power because of this. Just to be fair.
With no power limiter you'll have a peak of power only at a certain RPM and less at other.
I prefer to use the max power and tune my gearbox to stay in the good RPM range.

I tuned a LFA ffor the ring, but I'm not a good driver and I don't know Nurb very well. Could someone run it there and tell me if it's any good? HERE

praiano63 I could gift it to you if you'd be willing to try it out... :nervous:

Hello my friend, i have 2 LFA but not with full weight like this , even with ballast 100% i can't reach it.
Send it to me and i send you back. :)👍

will be sent within the hour to your main acount. (I hope)

Done . Your car is 6'38" for me on the ring, i'm 6'33" with my LFA.
Some few things are not adapted for this track.

1- brake bias , 7/8 i think , make braking at high speed in a turn impossible without spinning. More than 2/3 of the braking is like this on the ring. I correct to a classic 7/4 brake and it was perfect.

2- the car is too soft on the spring. It give some comfort to pass above the kerbs, but the driving precision is not so good (swing) and you loose the driving line easy. But the grip is amazing, i think a middle spring will be perfect. Not too much or too less.

3- The excess of weight without the weight reduction let the car more slow in the succession of curves, but strangely this HP gain don't give more top speed. Final of the straight is still 315 km/h, the same as with all the weight reductions and less power .

With the brake correction the car is fun to drive and still very fast.

Congrats. Have a good night.

Thank you for trying it out, and the great feedback. I was going for power over weight reduction because I thaught the car handled well at this weight and with the way the springs were set it could corner just fine, but if your geting the same speed with less hp and less weight it may not have made a differance.

I will take the advice you have given me and try to improve apon the car 👍

Thanks again for your time and feedback, as always very helpful!! Thank you :)

Did you manage to get something out of it?
i stopped at 6:39, barely able to keep it under control, not quite sure how to make it stable and still keep the up the speed though

Hi, i didn't insist a lot with the LotusEsprit sport 350 ,i have a tune for Indy road on it. I'm 6'38"300 with it,i think that the car can go to 6'35" with a more specific tune. It's a top car 550pp for sure.

I know this is an old thread but I couldn't help posting. I managed a 6.29 at 550pp with my Miura, 6.30 with the series one cobra & 6.31 with my current csl all in online rooms with all aids off except ABS. All with RS :/ < I know haha. There are loads of good cars at 550pp, just a matter of getting a tune your comfortable with and knowing how to push the car :D

My NSX Type R '02 I ran a 6'34.1, My CSL i've gotten to 6 36.5 and my beemer GTR a 6 37. No aero on any of them and the NSX is 549PP w/o wing, 1051kg and stock weight distribution 45/55. No tire wear, real grip, no aids except ABS on 1. The NSX is fast, but sometimes unstable with the distribution. But it still is a very fun car to drive. Not sure if tire wear on for you. But my CSL is the only car I have with a enduro setup on, i'm sure it'd be faster w/o a tire wear setup.

Corvette z06: 6 33
Audi R8: 6 31
BMW M3 CSL: 6 30
Lexus LFA: 6 27
You just need to try out different settings and do a lot of practice ;)
