Feels too loose for my style, t_wilson original is still faster for me but I don't have downforce 120.

Had a break from credit chasing and gave the GT40 another spin.
Changed dampers (to 7, 5 and 6, 8)
Upped anti roll bars to 7, 7 and changed LSD to 5, 8, 10 and slipped and slided to a 1m30.240. Sub 90 seconds is do-able

Edit
1m29.990 to sneak into the top 200 for the time being

Any of you guys got (El Camiro SS 396) tune that could do 1:36 to 1:37 easily without driver assist ? Just curious/dissatisfied for my own one.

I don't think there is any tune to drive this car easily. Just to much wheelspin everywhere.
I did 1:36,828 after 29km, all aids off with ds3 using x and square button.

Thanks Ed_Night, for this over torque car tune, appreciate you. 👍

This is what I wound up using (think its pretty "stable") on my GT 40. Some info came from tunes posted by @shaunm80 & @t_wilson01 👍

I am not a "tuner" but this setup was better for my driving preferences. (I felt the other setups were too "loose" for me to have confidence to push the car.)

Did my own setup and managed a 1:32.8 which I'm pleased about. Will try one of the tune here though and see what I can do with it. :-)

I think your figure are wrong here. those parts youve said to increase push it beyond the power limit or are you saying leave them as they are? :)

@Ailric

If your car is over the limit with all the parts installed then you will need to adjust it down to 550pp/ 412bhp with the power limiter. It's not a bad thing to have power < 100%, quite often its desirable.

This car is quite tough to handle around the mountain. Carrying too much speed into the corners will completely kill your lap, and the bumps don't help at all either. Managed a hard fought 1:30.390 good for 141st place at the moment. I'm calling it a day here.

It's sad how few tunes are posted now days, actually just how few people even bother to post at all. Oh well... Here's the tune I scrapped together. It's got to be better than nothing. And once again I'm shamelessly copying @shaunm80's template. :embarrassed: A few settings are the same as your AE tune, but I've had this one for some time now (before I tweaked it some more tonight) and don't remember if it's based on yours or not. Either way,.

Good on your for sharing this. Event is closed but I tried this out.

Added a custom rear wing and the other custom parts - makes the road car look quite Le Mans spec. I went for a low, wide rear wing with those curly winglets. Sort of looks like a big rollbar rather than a carbon wing from Halfords...

Hmm, a lot of outside rear spinning with my lead-fingered DS3 technique. Even with TCS 5 and 120 rear downforce! But after 3 laps I set a 1:30.3 so it's a fast tune. I tweaked a few things but didn't go any faster - nicely balanced.

1:30.191 296th
I actually used the Anniversary Edition during the event, then looked at the top replays. Didn't realise GT40 could get a wing, hah! Sadly it is not available for the Anniversary Edition.

Hope it helps! This required a very 'active' driving style, especially for a DS3 novice. But I really, really enjoyed the combination of car and track so was happy to put in that effort.

Haven't been able to play on the PS3 for a few weeks so I nearly missed this one. HAD to get the Matte Pink chip and
I think this will be deleted today so i had to get a last minute car that'd win this for me between getting up and going to work. @shaunm80 GT40 Aniversary seemed the one to go for.
Bumped the wall on the first lap, got Gold (and Pink) on the second.
Another great tune @shaunm80 thanks.
