That's pretty sweet. I suppose they kept the rule about having open wheels though. What about eight wheels? (2 on the front like the tyrrel- two on the back like the williams). Did they let the concept car have actice aerodynamics as well as suspension/steering/power delivery?

Also, who says that the tyres should generate the cornering force- why not give the car a sideways wing? (I suppose it wouldn't be that efficient if it had to work both ways)

Here's a few 6 wheelers (some already mentioned, others not)

Kurtis Kraft-Offenhauser KK500G (also known as the "Pat Clancy Special") (1957)

March 240/771 (1977)

Ferrari 312T2 (the car was dubbed "T6") (1976)

Williams FW08B (1982)

Tyrrell P34 (1976)

that middle eastern sultan (sultan of brunei?) (the one with the car obssession) I heard he had a 6 wheel ferrari. But he could probably get a 6 wheel anything, what with the money he had.

I find it amzing that one of his cars is currently living in a mechanics garage about 5 minutes away from my house. It still belongs to him to, I wonder how it ended up in te mechanics hands.

His London mansion is about 5 minutes away from my house. And I guess alot of his cars. He has 20ft walls all around it though so no chance of a peek.
