@Dart_Field - Your tune got me 1:32:3xx (DS3) on the RAYBRIG HSV-010 '12 for 278th atm... đź‘Ť TY! Great settings...

Gonna try the changes later...

PS: Believe there are no differences between the Base Modeland the RAYBRIG...

good job đź‘Ť especially with that gearbox, i was too disapointed to stop last night, i made a longer gearbox and i was faster.
also a few changes:
height: 65-60
spring: 11.21-14.00
i don't know why i modified, but the rear had more grip for the 2nd turn so better traction/confidence.
new GB: 240 speed, 6th to the right, final gear: 2.950
1st: 4.505 2nd:3.201 3rd:2.590 4th:2.128 5th:1.809 6th:1.562

i'll try with more do downforce next session, thanks for the feedback đź‘Ť

65-60 as you said
11.21 - 13.50

Gearbox:
Set speed to minimum, set final gear to 5.500
1st 4.460
2nd 3.494
3rd 2.791
4th 2.253
5th 1.861
6th 1.562
Final Gear 2.930

I just managed a 29.719 . The Japanese guys must have a great setup. Shooter is not hitting his apex's as well as he could.

Great combo  Thanks for the gears @01Michael I can actually cross the start line at roughly the same speed as the leader now, gonna try some more attempts in the wee small hours :)

Cheers

1:34 first time out with the HSV, feel like im losing tons of time in the last sector but the car is a dream to drive. Top 3300 on first lap when im usually miles down the rankings than that. Will have a proper blast at it later.

Managed a 1:31.333 for 113th, 1st with Portugal flag.
Thanks to @Dart_Field's tune and @01Michael's gearbox.

Funny lap .333:confused: same as Willow Springs .999:confused: and GTAcademy silverstone .777:confused:

Went for another round on this one, but with the Raybrig this time. Made a 1:34.623 for 4292nd place with a custom tune. Never thought I'd say this, but I found my tune to be faster than Praiano's.

I think my driving style is starting to develop and mature. :embarrassed:

EDIT: Wow! 1:33.761 for 2054th. I keep finding time all over the place.

Pardon the double post, but 800th place!!!!! 1:32.754!! :D

This is my absolute best placing in a seasonal so far. I'm still cutting time by several tenths whenever I break my own record. I'm going to shoot for 1:31 for sure!

I've been on max DF, but have started cutting down on it. Currently running 400/600. Might go lower once my time won't improve any more.

i tried your change and downforce, but still with my gearbox, the car is really good đź‘Ť
i also apologize for the time, i didn't expect the low 29.7XX ^^
i don't know if it's because nobody are fighting for the head, but i remember have took 7-8 tenth on the Laguna TT, i don't know what is going on

No need to apologise :) great time! Think most people are focusing on the GT Academy event instead.

1:32.285 for 512th. :D

I was struggling to break my previous time, so I thought it was time to cave in and bring down the DF. I'm running 350/450 atm and adopted 01Micheal's gearbox. The top-end gain was enough to shave half a second after a couple laps.

I'd post my tune, but in truth it's pretty much identical by now to most posted here. What's funny is that I naturally went with something similar initially through trial-and-error. I guess there is such a thing as "the best tune". I'm starting to wonder how much individual style comes into play at the top-end of human ability. But I digress.

Anyway, should say thanks for the tunes and tips posted in here. They helped to hit this time. Now to break into the 1:31s!

Had few hours on this one yesterday and managed quite nice lap in time 1.30.112 quite fast first part of the track before chicane, but the tune I used didn't quite fit for the twisty part in the end...

Here's the tune I had from previous event https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...eway-laguna-seca.315372/page-20#post-10019490 (he was quite a character, sorry to loose him) I did quick gear setup and did time under 1.32 on my very first lap so I though this could maybe work, ended up with RH at 55/55 and rear DF 535 for gears I did basic gear flip using 3.350 as initial final, gears were not that good so I suggest trying other gears posted in this thread! IIRC everything else was same as in the link I posted... I also had rigidity improved so that could be why the car felt too stiff for the end part, but if anyone comes up with ways to make the tune better for the end part, please let me know

Thank you very much for your help!
The result is 1'31.068:gtpflag:

I just missed out a place in the top 10 by .005. Oh well, i will settle for P11 hope i will stay there.

I had good fun with this combo, was a long time there was a good seasonal. Why PD comes up with such a good combo during the academy is a riddle for me. I even like this one more then the 2 first rounds of the academy combined.

improved myself today from 1’34’’079 to 1’33’’636 (currently #2672)
did one lap better but got to wide in the second last corner which i hate very very very much 🤬
1’33’’576 should have taken me to position 2512.
i have potential to get in the low 1’33’’...

I'm now struggling to break below 1:32.

I seem to have mostly the same tune as most top guys and my line isn't too different (or so I think). Any tips?

In my Raybrig HSV-010'12, with base settings, achieved 1:39:613.

Then with the magician's tune, whose known as Shaunm80, did a 1:34:268 to put me 5037th ranking.

I believe GT cars & Fuji race track go hand in hand.
