Cheers to you too! Happy for you. đź‘Ť

I really like this car and the current tune. I was thinking the transmission is close to good for auto users also, but there's a few places I hold the gear where an auto will shift. I just wasn't sure.

Hi,

Yes. I have. The biggest difference between the two, in my humble opinion, is this...

Clip a kerb on the 2J and you are off and into the wall as it loses all it grip/downforce due to the nature of that car. Clip the same kerb at the same speed on the TS and... and if you are real quick, you can "catch" the car and carry on the lap.

Others will, I am confident, have similar and other ideas which may also help you.

Best regards.

Ian.

True about the 2J. When going on a kerb, the car gets really violent. Hence, I did my best to avoid the kerbs but sadly this ain't the fastest way around the track.

The TS030 does feel more stable on the kerbs.

I've been doing some comparison laps and got some interesting results. Yesterday I bought a new TSO30 and put Hotsaucer's and CC's tunes on it. I'd been running a well used car with the rigid aid on it and it was pretty good but I could not finish a lap with either tune in the new one, it was literally all over the track.

Today I started again with the old car and ran a 7.36.125 then swapped to the new car and it was totally different to the day before. Hotsaucer's tune was great and I was four and a half seconds up until I had a mishap just before the straight, did a full 360 stuck the boot in and still got 7.35.125. Then it CC's turn and he's right, it got better and better, 7.33.277. So I had another go and it felt pretty comfy. 7.29.295. I dropped the f/d 5 and raised the rear 5 on Hotsaucer's tune and it felt a bit more stable but that may be because I was getting more used to it. Have another go tomorrow.

Tried your tune CC, very nice!

I'm now only 17 seconds behind your latest time.....

I used a flipped table to hold my iPhone 4 for this...

Here's a video of me going a little faster and blowing it all at 5:40. I was on track for a 7:11 according to the splits. Got a 7:12.318

Sorry about the steering wheel in the way.

Well I watched that vid 3 or 4 times, studied it fastideously and finally found my problem, I'm just not 🤬 fast enough.:cheers::cheers::cheers:

This is the first time out using my Peugeot 905B EVO 1 Bis LM '92, I made a lot of mistakes in this beast, this is a new car and if I can get the everything right I will be further up on my friends list :).

I've been fighting hard with 2J for last few days until I realized the steering buttons in my pad work worse and worse. Switched to my second controller and all of a sudden I start turning those turns like a demon, and then in the middle of the lap... my second pad crashes, reset and null, no work. :(
Just when I started to get there... gutted.

Got to find, borrow or steal a pad fast!

Stuck at 7.16, my mate CC getting away daily  tried the 2J slower than the TS. I can't sleep the ''green hell'' is in my dreams, wearing a knee brace i've worn it out, left eye twitching with little lightning bolts shooting around, tried doing it blindfolded......... my current setup is .....meds from the pschyciatrist. Jeez I love this game.

7:12 club :D

12.770

I'm shaking.

A weekend of chasing you down, can't wait :banghead::banghead:

Mate, I'm 13 seconds behind you so if you want to sent me some of those meds I'd be real happy, lightning bolts and all.:D

Improved to 1:30:370 for 397th rank!

Usually I'm never so high in the rankings but this track kind of favours me. Make no mistake, this track is as daunting as the Monte Carlo circuit, drains every bit of concentration out of me.

However, I love the track & will try to improve some more in the 2J. I was on a better lap still but got disqualified. I had enough for today after trying many laps.

Majority of the people here have put times with TS030 when compared to 2J!

I always felt the 2J is more stable overall (except on the kerbs) but the TS030 is proving me wrong.

Apart from being more stable on the kerbs, what else is more in the favour of TS030 as I still believe the 2J is more fast overall!

are you looking in your mirror CC
Maybe. I'm due for a 7:11 soon.

TS030 has better acceleration but lower top speed. When the battery hits and if you have traction, it launches forward. When the battery dies, it looses its edge and the 2J comes by.

Is this battery something similar to the KERS that we had in F1? I believe the TS030 won't be touching too high speeds on the back straight. I managed 350 with the 2J!
