btw thanks for motivation, i was able to drop to 1:25.2 on the death valley event. i think high 1:24 was possible, but i got tired of crashing into invisible walls.

Had a quick go at this late last night (after eating waaaaaayyyy too much roast!) and could only manage a rather slow 56:6XX in the Peugeot VGT. Ran the Peskie before it and struggled to get anything but red laps. Will definitely be back for more rounds when I'm not borderline food coma...

I've tried a Pesky, the Peugeot VGT, Sauber-Mercedes, and the Chappie 2X. I've managed a silver and a lot of red laps. I dislike this one. Lol.

I had another go in the Chappie 2X last night to see if I could a) understand how to drive this crazy car, and b) get a gold on this track. The end result: 54:7XX. Gold, and slightly understand the car. Now to try bring that time down.

Same here. I tought in the beginning that this would be a 2J war. 2 laps with it and gold. Shame that the Tsjappie is possible...I got the Gold in a Mazda less than an hour after the event opened.
Then they could have done better 900 pp. Then you still have choices.

Somehow managed to stuff it up around the final turn when I was up on my time, pressure got to me.. reckon 146th is as high as I go without doing lots more laps now

I tried this for like 30 seconds when it first came out and just exited out real quick saying nope..... I actually gave it a real try last night and it was kinda fun hustling the Pescalero hybride around this track. Got down to a 55.2xx so not much more to get gold. I was way up on that time a few times and ended up sliding off the outside on the final turn. Not usually a fan of the 700pp club, but this event has me interested.

I had to swallow my pride and turn on ASM. It allows me to push much harder without the worry of snap oversteer or wagging the tail. I normally use ABS of 1 to 3 for my only aid.
Running this car on this track took me back to the days of GT2 where you would take the Escudo out and whoop some AI for money and cars to sell. It's really way too much car for the conditions but that's what makes it so much fun.

I haven't used a controller for a while but when I did,I started using the lowest sensitivity and it seemed to give me more control.I got great times with it.I now use a Logitech G27.It make it way more fun but I'm not sure it's an advantage over the controller.Well...... I drive with the highest, Is this really works? I'm freaking out if that kills me every lap
