You mean sticky chrome foil wrap - body is carbon fibre. ;)
Autocar
The doors and wings of the Galibier are made from aluminium, but the rest of the body is constructed from carbon-fibre and Schreiber admitted that the front end of the chassis was also largely made from carbon-fibre to add stiffness and weight.
Um, really?

If I'm honest, despite the interior being a little wonky for my tastes, I like the exterior. And the thought of being able to do 217 MPH in a car the size of an apartment.

*shrug*

I'm willing to bet the production version will be dialed back to 8 or 9 though, likely with a lot of parts pulled directly out of the Veyron.

I think Bugatti should make a car that isn't so uber expensive and exclusive. But perhaps this what the "new" Bugatti mark is all about: be uber expensive and exclusive.

The interior doesn't surprised me; it's Bugatti.

As for the exterior, it's like a Panamera humped a 7-Series.

I love almost everything about it, except the following:
1. Just give me the extra 2 turbos damn it!
2. I'm not digging the polished aluminum. Just leave it silver or grey or body color.
3. Can we get a tiny lip rear bootlit spoiler?

Otherwise I love it, I'd so rock one if I was a multi-millionaire (as in 10m+)

I kind of like the looks, the front looks nice and the back looks okay, but combined they don't seem to work too well. It doesn't look bad, it's a rather attractive car from a few of thoes angles but it just looks a bit awkward from others.

I dont mind it, it looks a little Porsche Panamera like at the rear to me. However I dont like the front end, its a bit to 'blunt' for me and doesnt fit the flowing lines of the car, if the angled the top back just a little maybe it wouldnt look so out of place.
I do like that interior very much though!

Like what most people said already, I think the front, side and interior are just sexy, its the back,it just doesnt match the rest of the car to me.I'd like to see what it whould look like if was a 4-door sedan.

Very clearly the Bugatti Panamera. Neither this nor the Porsche version is all that attractive. However, this one seems to trump it for both ostentatiousness and absurdity: eight exhaust tips looks silly, even if it's necessary, and the exhaust is the least of its problems.

To me it looks more like a four door Bentley Continental GT with a Veyron front end (and Saab light surrounds)

I do not like the chrome sides at all. Maybe they should just go with an accent color. Other than that its not too bad. Also not sure what to think of the 8 exhaust tips. Are all 8 of those functional?

I think the chrome sides are just an example of the two tone paintwork selection. It will have millions of colours like the Veyron but you know some pillock is going to paint one in chrome & mirror gold :yuck:. The trademark Black and Bugatti Blue would be the best.

As for the style I do like it and the reason why it looks slightly dated (as people said 90's concept car-ish) is because Bugatti are going for the original Royale look which is ancient. I do see a lot of the Royale and Atlantique in there and even the interior, which are really like, looks like a sideboard on an old cruise ship.

If you notice they have engraved a line in the windscreen to create the 'split' effect of vintage cars, neat touch but get slightly annoying.

Robin.

Unfortunately for Bugatti, going 'retro' means they should take recognizable styling elements from 'back in the day' and put them on their new car. Not bust out a timeline and pick a date between then and now to compromise between new and old.

Trying to make such a modern car look like it could have been designed in 1930 is quite the task. Bugatti should have picked a couple things they liked from the old car, modernized them and put them on something completely new.

I definitely don't get the same vibe as the Veyron. To be honest, I think its just straight up ugly. They tried to include some individualism with it while also incoperating some qeues from the Veyron, but it just doesn't work. I'd be interested in seeing if Bugatti even has a market outside the Veyron. It is a concept though, so I'm hopeful...

To much freaking chrome, might as well have chrome trim instead of wood trim... And so bugatti has now made a Crosstour?

That's the most awesome car ever. And it's not even a Saab.

The way the roof curves absolutely perfectly downwards towards the rear of the car is just a thing of beauty.

Wow - much better.

And are those illuminated wheel hub things?

This would look crap when the gangster rappers try to put better wheels on.
