I've noticed they've half given up on showing the Shell, Rolex and NISMO breakers.

latest

And I only saw the Ssangyong Tivoli ad once so far, go figure.

Yep, I'm back. I've already seen that Strakka's gone, so much for my LMP2 favorite. Dammit. :indiff: Porsche's leading in LMP1, KCMG has been invincible in LMP2, and 'Vette has been fighting by itself and winning. Guess we might see the Porsche party soon enough...

Geez, the ads are getting longer and longer - and they're all advertising Eurosport's upcoming schedule, so it's not like they are fulfilling sponsorship requirements. Does nobody at Eurosport realise that the best advertising for the network is "The 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans, live and uninterrupted on Eurosport"?
I thought you got Foxtel hooked up? It's much better on Fox Sports 4. Very little ads and less irritating commentators.

So since they only found out about all the KERS issues in the last few weeks leading to the big race and knowing they would essentially be running close to LMP2 class, Nissan shouldnt have shown up to race? After all the advertisement they did you don't think being absent at Le Mans would be a bigger blow in terms of PR?
That's why I said I think Nissan brought an untested and underdeveloped car to the race.

They could have done better and should have done better given their resources abs experience in motorsports is all I'm saying, really. Porsche did it, so why shouldn't Nissan be able to do so?
Oh it doesn't look good at all, but you gotta do what you gotta do if you have the opportunity. :)
See, we actually agree. The guys at Nissan aren't going to think everything's just peachy.

Either way, I'm expecting Audi and Porsche to duke it out among themselves in the coming years and I do commend Nissan on their fighting spirit to enter that arms race.

I would be surprised if it was not a 1 2 3
Im going to reword this. I will be surprised if 17 and 19 don't get 1-2 but I wouldn't be surprised by a 1-2-3 but the 18 is a bit of a wildcard it almost got itself out of the race twice.

RE: Nismo: As with McLaren, I mostly don't mind (actually, I mind McLaren-Honda more, because it's a waste of Alonso's time to be developing a car when he can still be fighting for wins)... just the fact that they brought something so unusual to the track, and to actually have it still running at this point is a victory in itself.

Of course, I'd be happier if it was the Delta up there, but oh well...

Any issue with either Audis, the #18 could be right up there.

What??? Not possible...

Oh yeah, it's possible for a guy that missed most of the other times the ad showed up. I've seen the cringe-worthy "Audi swag" ad and the "Redefining innovation (that sadly isn't that quick)" Nissan far more times than the Tivoli. I didn't even remember that such a car existed, haha.

10 / 15 of live coverage and at least 3 minutes of commercial nonsense. It's a challange even for the spectators, in their opinion everyone should have one and ours is to watch all this commercial BS for 24h!

Watching ALL the adverts!!!

Eurosport is covering the race on Foxtel along with Fox Sports. I've been interchanging between the two, avoiding all ad breaks.

Seems like Australia has the best TV coverage in the world at the moment though. :odd:
