My insomnia last night caught up with me and I just took a 2 hour nap. Looks like the #17's still in first but the #18's fallen to fourth and is a lap down? What happened?

And in GTE Pro, the Corvette's in first?! I mean, that's great, but how did that happen? (Though I see the #91 is still doing pretty crappy. :( )

EDIT: The Abu Dhabi-Proton Racing 911 retired, too? Gah!

Here's something for you all - F1 has a lot of reject teams that have gained cult fan status. Are there any Le Mans projects that floundered, yet have a special place in everyone's hearts? :D

Eurosport commercials: "Nissan GT-R LM NISMO, redefining innovation at the 24 hours of Le Mans" Pretty bold claim isn't it?
It says nothing about results. You can have something insane that fails, but it doesn't change the concept.
To my understanding hybrids in Nissan cars are turned off ?
No hybrid, extra weight of the system, about 450hp, FWD.
How do you even see out of it?
It has an interesting letterbox opening in the cockpit. Looks completely closed cockpit at first glance.

We need more polished metal/chrome rims on the cars. :D

Currently not at home, but I can see that things have gone more or less normally around the track. Oh, and a great GT battle as usual.

I will post my favorite Le Mans floundering project later, when I get home.. ;)
